It is a non-profit organization established by the European Association of Development Agencies in cooperation with the European Commission. Its goal is to propagate the advancement of the angel investment industry throughout Europe. The European Business Angel Network is a venue for its members to learn from each other and advocate the best investment practices. It also supports the angel investment activities by providing assistance through various programs for the local, regional, and nationwide scope. The full members of the European Angel Network cover a vast expanse of organizations such as international angel investment organizations; local, regional, and national angel groups; and angel organizations from other countries. Currently, there are about fifty national and regional network members. These members are entitled to many benefits from the European Angel Network. Members have a privilege to form various connections through the network's regular dialogue with the European Commission. Member organizations are accessible through their visibility in the European investment scene from being part of the European Angel Network.
