With a 25-year history in investment banking, commercial banking, and energy, Steve interacts with all clients within the merchant banking division. Steve’s experience includes executive corporate operations, debt finance, merger and acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring, shareholder transitions and succession planning, asset and stock sales, negotiation and strategic planning in a wide array of industries including oil and gas, retail, real estate development and financial services.

The core technology for Vestaron is based on the utilization of polypeptides found in spider venom. Preliminary tests have produced positive results against a variety of insects and pest species including mosquitoes, caterpillars, house flies and cockroaches. Additionally, Vestaron products are designed to be harmless to non-target species, including humans and other mammals. |

KcBioMediX is a medical device company established to commercialize technologies developed at the University of Kansas that measure, develop, and monitor the Non-Nutritive Suck (“NNS”). NNS is an essential building block in an infant’s development of the coordinated sucking, breathing and swallowing capability needed in independent oral feeding. The inability to feed independently is the leading cause of failure to discharge from the hospital for premature babies. |

Compact Particle Acceleration Corp. is partnering with TomoTherapy Incorporated and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) to create the next generation of compact proton therapy for cancer treatment. The key component of the new technology is a dielectric wall accelerator (DWA). The DWA will allow CPAC to produce an intensity modulated proton therapy (IMPT) machine that can be used in a standard therapy treatment room; allowing CPAC the opportunity to make IMPT available to a broader range of hospitals and cancer centers. In addition to cancer treatment, the technology has the potential to be used in other fields such as defense, security and semiconductors. |
