Rahul is an Associate with High Peaks based in the firm’s New York City office. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across a wide range of sectors and supporting existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining High Peaks, Rahul worked as an Associate at both Genacast Ventures and Comcast Interactive Capital where he conducted due diligence on early and growth stage investment opportunities in the Digital Media, Online Advertising, Internet, Software-as-a-Service, and E-Commerce sectors. Before working in venture capital, he was a Senior Manager on AOL’s Corporate Development team where he helped evaluate, manage, and structure numerous acquisitions and investments, including Bebo, Quigo, Weblogs, Relegence, and Truveo. Rahul began his career in Investment Banking at Banc of America Securities working on a variety of strategic and fundraising transactions for companies such as Microsoft, Time Warner, Primedia, and Cablevision.
Rahul earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the George Washington University with Honors, an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
