John Landry has been a leader in the software business since the word 'software' was conceived. Now a 30-year veteran of the industry, Landry has served as Chief Technology Officer/Senior VP Development at such software leaders as Lotus Development, Dun & Bradstreet Software, Cullinet Software and McCormack & Dodge as well as the Founder/Chairman/CTO of numerous successful startups including
Narrative Communications, AnyDay.com and Adjoin Solutions.
In 1999, Landry founded Lead Dog Ventures LLC, a business accelerator providing emerging technology enterprises access to a well-developed network of intellectual, relationship and financial capital. Packaging technology vision, business expertise and funding alternatives, Lead Dog provides the means for today's entrepreneurs to become the "Lead Dogs" of tomorrow.
Landry is a long-time trustee of the Mass Technology Leadership Council, a Mass Hi-Tech All-Star, an Xconomy Xconomist, a member/investor in CommonAngels and TechStars, the past-president of the Information Technology Assoc of America (ITAA) and the American Software Association, and is a Trustee and Instructor at his alma mater, the #1-ranked Entrepreneurship college in the US, Babson College. John has served on the Board of Directors of over 39 companies and currently serves as a Director of several technology companies including DoubleTake Software, Sonian and PracticallyGreen.com, and also serves on the Board of Advisors of several companies as well as DEMO and the Nantucket Conference.
