Mac Lipscomb

McAdory "Mac" Lipscomb is the Operating Partner of RRE. He joined the firm in February 2010.
Mac's role is to manage our many industry relationships and to drive the market visibility of our business to maximize our New York-area strategy. He is well-known in the venture community for his work as an executive coach to 400+ CEOs, including advising LivePerson's successful IPO road show and several venture investor events. He also brings extensive corporate management experience, and was with Accenture for nine years, most recently the Partner leading global marketing and communications for the Communications Industry Practice, as well as Global Outsourcing for the Communications and High Tech Industry operating group. Even though he is a Senior Fellow at the Annenberg School for the Digital Future at the University of Southern California, he lives in Connecticut.
Lipscomb was previously EVP of Showtime Networks, GM of Showtime Pay Per View and ran the global programming, sales, and marketing for WorldSpace -- the first global satellite direct radio broadcaster -- and led the joint venture strategy that created XM Satellite Radio.
Over his career he has worked on Capitol Hill and in presidential campaigns and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado, an MA in Speech Communications from Auburn University, and a BA from the University of Maryland, where he serves on the Board of Visitors for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
