The Vegas Valley Angels (VVA) are a group of accredited investors dedicated to providing equity capital to early and mid-stage entrepreneurial companies. Our primary focus is on companies based in Southern Nevada.
Members of VVA have extensive experience in founding, building, managing and/or financing companies in a wide variety of industries. We mentor and coach the entrepreneurs in whom we invest, serve on their boards, provide contacts and assist with team building, strategic planning and fundraising.
VVA also works closely with other angel groups throughout the country as well as regional and national venture firms.

Mark Brennan

For more than fifteen years Mark has served as the President of his own consulting firm, The Brennan Consulting Group, through which he has managed a number of long-term, multi-year management and operations consulting engagements in various business sectors. In addition to his ongoing management consulting practice, Mark has also founded, operated, and grown a number of companies in a variety of industries and considers himself first and foremost a “serial entrepreneur.” With considerable start-up, turn-around, and operations and finance experience, Mark brings a very well-rounded skill set to his clients; as a business counselor his sole focus is to help entrepreneurs succeed.
Mark has many years of active business experience at senior executive levels in business sectors including: commercial real estate development and management, telecommunications & networking, internet-based education, commercial aviation services, franchise operations, retail quick service restaurant development and management, and specialty retail products. Mark also has 60 years of cumulative experience as a board member with both public and private companies in a wide range of industries to include: commercial banking, broadband wireless services, software development, data archival and retrieval service systems, social networking, franchise systems, and fast/casual dining. In addition, Mark is an active private equity investor and advisor to seed and early stage ventures.
Early in Mark’s career, after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy and earning his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force, he served his country as an eight-year fighter pilot and instructor pilot where he flew five different types of fighter aircraft with the majority of his experience in the F-16 Falcon.
Mark is the founding Chairman of the Vegas Valley Angels, a non-profit organization of accredited investors whose purpose is to search out, invest in, mentor, and foster the development of new and developing companies located principally in the Southwest. Mark is a past board member and officer of the Nevada Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) where he was active for nine years. He is a founder and past president of the Harvard Business School Armed Forces Alumni Association and a member of the Harvard Alumni Association. For years Mark has been active with various entrepreneurship related organizations in the Las Vegas area to include the Technology Ventures Corporation, the Vegas Venture Forum, the Donald W. Reynolds Nevada Business Plan Competition, and UNLV’s Center for Entrepreneurship, to name a few. Mark is also currently a member of the Board of Advisors to the Nevada Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology and he frequently guest lectures for the UNLV College of Business at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive MBA program levels.
Mark’s education includes an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, as well as an MA degree in Management from National University. His Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations & Foreign Affairs was earned at the United States Air Force Academy.
