The Ark Royal Funds derive their returns from loans to U.S. operating companies conducting alternative asset based financing and investment activities. This is achieved through investing in debt transactions backed by a flow of goods, real assets, or future receivables. The Funds are best characterized as a Market Neutral strategy as the underlying asset base bears little correlation with equity or fixed income markets.
The Fund employs a combination of techniques to minimize transactional risk. Our management has extensive experience in commercial corporate finance and business operations, inventory management and liquidation as well as in house legal and tax expertise. This expertise, combined with the utilization of top quality outside counsel and experts in the field, gives the funds an edge in identifying opportunities, execution and managing investment risk.

John is responsible for client and product development for Ark Royal Capital. Prior to joining Ark Royal Capital, John spent over 25 years in Asset Based Lending and Factoring for two major NY banks, Republic National Bank of NY formerly owned by Edmund Safra and HSBC USA. Throughout his career, he assisted many companies and aided the banks in building their asset-based lending portfolio. The last portfolio at HSBC’s Commercial Business Credit, in which John worked, exceeded 6 billion dollars. He was a Vice President and a Wholesale Regional Manager for the entire HSBC factoring portfolio in southeast of the US. He is a member of many financial groups and is a director in the Commercial Finance Association. John has a BA from Hofstra University and completed graduate studies at Pace University in Manhattan, NY.
