Douglas Beekman

Mr. Beekman manages Advantage Capital's Washington, D.C. and Hawaii investment portfolios. He currently serves on the board of directors of five Advantage Capital portfolio companies: ARC Solutions, AGIS Networks, Broadband Interactive TV, CreateHope and Nanopoint.
Prior to joining Advantage in 2000, Mr. Beekman was the manager of corporate development for Danaher, Inc., where he was responsible for assisting with the acquisition and divestiture activities of the company.
Mr. Beekman earned an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in government from Dartmouth College.

Golden Goal Youth Soccer Located in upstate New York, Golden Goal is the nation's largest, all-inclusive youth sports complex. Advantage Capital, along with Sonostar Ventures and individual investors, invested $9 million in the company in 2007. The funding allowed Golden Goal to continue development and finish construction of the facility. The 200-acre soccer complex is designed for week-long youth soccer and lacrosse tournaments. Golden Goal offers an Olympic-like experience where teams can stay in an 18-building Athletes Village and participate in daily matches and competitions, culminating with a single-elimination championship tournament. |
