21 Ventures is dedicated to advancing innovation across the globe. Our mission is two-fold. First, we offer seed and bridge financing to high-growth technology ventures. Second, we design and deliver entrepreneurship training programs for scientists and technology developers.
21 Ventures invests in both seed and bridge financings. We invest from $25,000 to $1,000,000 in technology ventures and we are actively seeking new deals. Our contrarian technology commercialization strategy is to fill the widening gap between "friends and family" funding and initial professional capital.

David Anthony is an experienced entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and educator. Mr. Anthony founded 21Ventures in 2003 when prices for seed and bridge financings hit their bottom. Since inception, 21Ventures has provided seed orbridge financings to 10 technology ventures. Mr. Anthony sits on the board of portfolio companies: Aspectus VideoIntelligence, Juice Wireless, and Orion Solar. He is a board observer on A-Speed Software and Visioneered ImageSystems.
Since 2002, Anthony has been entrepreneur-in-residence at the University of Alabama Birmingham, School ofBusiness. At UAB, Anthony teaches three courses: "From Idea to IPO—The Technology Venture," "TechnologyVentures Business Planning," and "Negotiating Technology Agreements." His students include PhD. Students, post-docs, and faculty from the medical, engineering, and physical sciences schools. Anthony is the co-founder of theAlabama Launchpad, the first statewide business plan competition in Alabama. In 2004 and 2005, Anthony taught "From Idea to IPO—The Technology Venture" at the New York Academy of Sciences. His students there were PhD.Candidates and post-docs from Columbia, NYU, Sloan Kettering, Rockefeller, and Einstein.
