GVP is an early stage venture capital fund founded in 1998 by two experienced operating executives to assist committed entrepreneurs in building successful software companies. Our motto is “When we believe in the vision of an entrepreneur we fully support his/her ability to execute that vision”.
Because we invest our industry knowledge, expertise and our money, we specifically focus on the following information technology sectors: Enterprise software, Infrastructure software, Wireless, RFID, VOIP and Embedded technologies. Geneva Venture Partners seeks to achieve substantial long term capital gains through a diversified portfolio of equity investments in privately held Information Technology companies presenting a significant growth potential in revenues and profits. The typical investment is start-up stage. Amounts invested range from $500,000 to $ 4,000,000. We typically hold an investment between 2 to 6 years and the liquidity generally results from either a public offering or the sale of the portfolio company.
