Michael R. Steed is the Founder and Managing Partner of Paladin Capital Group, a private equity firm primarily targeting privately held, small to medium sized companies who are market leaders in their industry group. He serves as Chairman of the Paladin Homeland Security Fund Investment Committee, and is a member of the Paladin Capital Partners Fund Investment Committee. Mr. Steed provides management oversight of the firm's operations and investments , and is responsible for the strategic direction of Paladin's current and future activities. Prior to founding Paladin Capital, Mr. Steed served as the Senior Vice President of Investments at a financial services holding company located in Washington, DC where he was responsible for 78 direct, co-investments and fund investments from 1992 to 1999, including all investments in a private capital fund where Mr. Steed had primary management responsibility. Michael Steed is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles and received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law.
