Vista Ventures is a venture capital firm with offices in Boulder, Colorado and Fort Collins, Colorado. We invest in early- and growth-stage IT, communications and media and data services companies that provide unique products and services, and that have the potential to become market leaders. We like to be early investors in companies with the vision to provide a "must have" product or service and the desire to build a sustainable competitive advantage. Vista also invests in enabling technologies that are revolutionizing an array of traditional industries.The firm focuses on companies in the greater Rocky Mountain region. However, we do look broadly at deals, particularly in the southwestern U.S. where we can still be helpful in actively supporting the company.Vista typically invests $1 - 2 million in its first investment in a company and $4 - 5 million over the life of the company.

Mike has twenty-five years operating experience in semiconductors and communications, specializing in strategic planning, marketing and business development at companies such as Analog Devices, Anadigics and the world's first DSP company, TRW LSI Products. Mike has also served as the CEO of a networking company and consultant to several technology start-ups. Most recently, he co-founded GTV Capital, an early stage venture fund. Mike is a frequent speaker and panel member at entrepreneur forums. Mike leads the firm's Boston office. Mike received his BSEE from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from California State University; he also studied strategic planning at Harvard University.
