Mr. Schreiber is a Managing General Partner of Seed Capital Partners, an early stage technology venture fund that he co-founded in 1999 with Jordan Levy. He currently serves as a Director of AEB, Cyber-Ark, and OptoDot. Prior to Seed Capital Partners, Mr. Schreiber and Mr. Levy formed WinGroup, an early stage technology venture fund investing their personal capital. Mr. Schreiber’s investments at WinGroup included Delano Technologies and OpenSite Technologies. In 1995, Mr. Schreiber and Mr. Levy were founding members of Softbank’s initial venture capital investment team. Mr. Schreiber’s investments at Softbank included BackWeb Technologies and InterTrust Technologies. In 1990, Mr. Schreiber and Mr. Levy founded Upgrade Corporation, the first technology customer relationship outsourcing company where Mr. Schreiber served as the company’s Chairman and CEO. The company’s customers included 80% of U.S. software vendors and Mr. Schreiber grew the company from $0 to $65 million in profitable revenue. Upgrade’s investors, Venrock and Euclid, realized a significant return when the company was sold to Softbank to form Softbank Services Group. Mr. Schreiber then served as Softbank Services Group’s co-Chairman and co-CEO and grew the company to $175 million in revenue. The company is now known as ClientLogic. In 1980, Mr. Schreiber founded Software Distribution Services, a distributor of every major computer peripheral and software vendor. He served as the company’s CEO and President and was joined by Mr. Levy in 1982. They grew the company from $0 to $100 million in profitable revenue and Mr. Schreiber led all acquisitions, technical units, and all product support functions. After selling the business in 1985 to form Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM), Mr. Schreiber assumed the role of COO and Executive Vice President of Ingram Micro and grew the company to $1 billion in revenue. Ingram Micro is currently the largest technology distributor in the world and has a market capitalization of $2 billion and generates $23 billion in revenue.
