Ken Rind is an internationally recognized venture capitalist. Prior to co-founding Israel Infinity and Nitzanim, he completed winding down his responsibilities at Oxford Partners, a $120 million venture capital firm that he co-founded. Previously, Dr. Rind was at Xerox, where he managed various acquisition and venture capital activities, and at Oppenheimer, where he was General Partner of its venture capital fund, as well as being responsible for technology investment banking. He started his venture activities with the Rockefeller Family, after serving as a professor of Physics and an officer at a consulting/mutual fund management firm.

Glucon Glucon develops non-invasive continuous glucose-monitoring devices for individual diabetics and for clinics. Glucon's glucose monitors are based on a photoacoustic - optics- and sound-based - technology protected by several pending patents. The technology is designed to be incorporated into a small and comfortably wearable instrument. Photoacoustics is superior to optics alone, as it obtains blood-glucose measurements from inside the blood vessels, thus providing greater specificity (identification) and sensitivity (detection of level changes) in the measurement. |
