ECentury Capital is a $90 million balanced-stage venture capital fund that makes investments throughout the eastern United States in distinctive technology companies that solve real business problems. We give our portfolio companies the power to accelerate their businesses into global markets by leveraging our active, institutional partners Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Allied Capital and Rothschild. Our target investment size is up to $4 million with participation targeted at Series A and B rounds, though smaller amounts can be invested in seed rounds. Prior to co-founding ECentury Capital, Marsh was Chief Operating Officer of IXI Corporation, a rapidly growing data mining company in Northern Virginia. Previously, Marsh was Vice President of Technology Strategy for Tele-TV, a broadband technology partnership of Bell Atlantic, NYNEX and Pacific Bell. His duties included identifying strategic investment opportunities for the parent companies. Marsh was Director of Product Development at Bell Atlantic, where in 1993-94, he led the development of the first-ever, video-on-demand user interface and eCommerce applications over broadband architectures-work for which he was issued a US patent. His early career included work for the Telecommunications Group at Booz, Allen and Hamilton and for the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Alereon, Inc. is a new fabless semiconductor company focused on developing and deploying UWB chipsets for personal area networking applications that comply with the emerging IEEE standard (802.15.3a). The Company is targeting very high bandwidth, low-power, low-cost solutions to connect wirelessly consumer electronics, personal computing, and mobile devices. ECentury Capital joined Austin Ventures, Pharos Capital, Centennial Ventures, and others in the company's Series A financing in January 2004. |

Magnolia Broadband, Inc. Magnolia Broadband, Inc. is developing an integrated, low-power "radio-on a-chip" for mobile handsets that will allow greater capacity, coverage and data rates. Magnolia's solution will integrate transparently, with no physical layer changes, into existing and future mobile networks. ECentury led an investment in Magnolia in March 2002. |

ProVox Based in Roanoke Virginia, ProVox Technologies Corp provides voice recognition documentation and electronic charting software designed specifically for medical practices, clinics and hospitals. TalkNotes interfaces with existing clinical and hospital billing systems and eliminates transcription using state-of-the-art voice-to-text documentation. TalkNotes is in use by over one thousand healthcare providers in the U.S. ECentury led an investment in ProVox in December 2002, with Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds. |

Unitrends Unitrends provides disk-to-disk based data protection and disaster recovery solutions to the enterprise departmental and small and medium sized business markets. Unitrends’ products include tightly integrated software and disk-to-disk technology that supports over twenty operating systems, and a 15-year history in the data protection industry. ECentury Capital joined Aurora Funds and Harbert Venture Partners in a Series B round of financing for Unitrends Software Corporation. |
