Harvard Business School Association of Southern California's (HBSASC) mission is to continuously enhance the life-long careers and lifestyles of our fellow alumni.
To meet this mission, HBSASC puts on dozens of events per year that bring together the over 2000 HBS Alumni in Southern California. Some events focus on career development, others on the latest business trends, still others are just social gatherings that give alumni a chance to kick back and have fun, meet up with old friends and make new ones. Our aim is to find exclusive opportunities and settings that give our alumni unique experiences. In the past these have included winemaker dinners at Spago with Wolfgang Puck, movie premieres on Studio lots, visits from HBS professors, and behind the scenes looks at Los Angeles landmarks and cultural institutions. HBSASC members are also often invited to exclusive opportunities presented by other Harvard and like-minded organizations: Harvard Radcliffe Club, Ivy League Association, and the MBA Alliance of Southern California at member rates.
Besides events, HBSASC has an online directory of alumni in Southern California -- an invaluable networking tool. HBSASC also serves as a conduit between HBS in Boston and alumni in our area making it possible for us take advantage of visiting professors, authors, and career services personnel as well as discounts on HBS products and services. HBSASC also participates in community service projects.
HBSASC is a member and sponsor supported and volunteer driven organization. We need your membership to support the services we provide. And we invite your time, ideas and energy in making events happen and continuing to make HBSASC one of the premiere HBS alumni clubs in the country -- and we are one of the biggest and most active clubs!
