Mr. Beekman is involved in the origination, analysis, and negotiation of new investments, and provides administrative, financial, and strategic planning support to portfolio companies. Mr. Beekman has also had extensive experience in the merger and acquisition arena. He was previously the Manager of Corporate Development for the Danaher Corporation where he completed 15 transactions, both public and private, in the United States and in Europe. Prior to that, he was with the Investment Banking Division of Alex. Brown and Sons in the Media and Communications Group. His work included transactions in the competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) and wireless communications industries. Mr. Beekman has a Master of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. degree in Government from Dartmouth College.
