"The Perfect Venture Conference" Agenda

Why is this the "perfect" venture conference? We will have 50 early-stage VCs and only 18 early-stage Technology companies coming together for 2 days of interactive workshops, panels, private meetings, networking and pitching.

**During each of the below sessions, every company will have the opportunity to pitch to the investors. There will also be powerpoint presentations, networking time in between each session and several 1-on-1 sessions throughout the 2 days.

An interactive workshop which will show the entrepreneurs exactly what to say in a short Investor Pitch. Every company will then get to pitch.
Session 2: What Investors want in a Business Plan
This panel will teach the entrepreneurs what Investors feel is most important in a business plan, how to organize it and what to leave out!
Session 3: Building Revenue & Acquiring Customers
This panel will give you insight from the investors on how to acquire customers and increase your revenue this to grow your business and raise your valuation!
Session 4: How to Build a Winning Management Team
Investors always invest in the People of a company. This panel will show how to make your management team stand out for Potential Investors.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008:

Session 5: Preparing CEOs for VC meetings
This panel will go over the basics and specifics of meeting with VCs. Each company will take a 1-on-1 meetings with investors.
Session 6: Current Trends in IT Investing
Learn what VCs are thinking and what they expect in 2006 and 2007. This Investor Panel will go over the current state of the market and IT investing in General.
Session 7: Valuation Workshop
Setting your Valuation. This panel will discuss how Entrepreneurs and Investors set their valuation, and how they can come to terms when it's higher or lower than expected.
Session 8: Negotiating Term Sheets & Exit Strategies
This panel will discuss exactly what the VCs want if you want a check. Who gets what and how much should you expect to give away to your Investor.
