New York Angels' mission is to provide opportunities for its members to obtain outstanding financial returns by investing in early-stage companies in the New York City area and accelerating them to market leadership.
We provide early-stage capital in the range of $100K-$1M, an investment range not generally served by venture capital funds. Since 1997, we and members of our predecessor group have invested over $20 million in more than 60 ventures companies. This year in 2005 alone we have already funded over $2 million into six exciting companies.
Our members are entrepreneurs, CEO's, venture capitalists and business leaders who have founded, funded and built world-class companies. We mentor and coach the entrepreneurs in whom we invest, serve on their boards, provide contacts and assist with team building, strategic planning and fundraising.
