Interested in meeting early-stage Angel Investors and Venture Capitalists in Las Vegas?

Then register for the FundingPost event on Thursday, April 29, 2010

FundingPost has hosted 165+ sold-out venture events in 19 cities over the past 9 years.
At our next event, the panel of investors will focus on Early-Stage Venture Investing: How to meet investors, pitch them, and what it really takes to get them to write you a check! We will be discussing trends in Early-Stage Investing, hot sectors, sectors that these Angels and VCs look at, things that are most important to them when they are considering an Investment, the best and worst things an entrepreneur can do to get their attention, additional advice for entrepreneurs, and, of course, the best ways to reach these and other Investors. There will be plenty of time for networking with the Investor panelists, both before the panel & after the panel at the Cocktail Party!

As an additional benefit, entrepreneur 1/4 page summaries will be given to the investor speakers and attendees. All of the Investors will get your company description and contact info!

Technology Business Alliance of Nevada | The Technology Business Alliance of Nevada is proactively fostering high-tech growth in Nevada. We are dedicated to assisting high-tech start-ups in finding the talent, customers and financing needed to be successful.

Our community is continually diversifying and becoming more technology-centered. To help you stay on the cutting edge of business technology, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce formed an alliance with Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN). Together we are dedicated to ensuring the advancement of the local technology community.
Vegas Valley Angels | The Vegas Valley Angels is an angel investment organization established on March 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Through the initiative of the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada, four entrepreneurs in Las Vegas realized a need for an organization that will make quality investments on early and middle-stage companies in Southern Nevada. Thus, Mike Ballard, Mark Brennan, Scott Frost, and David LeGrand founded the Vegas Valley Angels. Since its inception, the group had accumulated fifty members and accomplished a total investment amounting to $8 million in twelve companies. It is also one of the seven prime angel groups from California, Utah, and Nevada that constitutes an alliance of angel groups in the western region.
Nevadas Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology | NCET is an independent award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by public contributions, sponsorships, program revenues and limited grants. NCET receives no funding from the State of Nevada.

    Counseling and Business Resources

Instead of providing individual counseling to entrepreneurs and small businesses, NCET and its programs serve as a clearinghouse for the many public sector programs and private sector resources that provide free or low-cost services to people starting or growing a business.

    Business Funding

NCET does not provide funding for businesses, and instead has developed a list of Nevada funding sources who provide equity funding for companies seeking funding. Small businesses needing loans should contact your local US Small Business Administration office or the Nevada Microenterprise Initiative.
Nevada Corporate Headquarters | For almost 20 years, NCH has been the source for Nevada corporations, Nevada LLCs, asset protection strategies, business credit establishment and many other business/financial services. Unlike other companies, NCH prides itself on service and guidance for clients with a genuine desire to help you succeed. Whether you are thinking of incorporating a business or looking for asset protection strategies – look to NCH’s in-house team of business and finance experts.
Holland & Hart LLP | Holland & Hart offers a multi-disciplinary practice group devoted to providing advice on all matters involving private equity and venture capital investments. Led by a team of experienced lawyers, we offer our clients a practical and comprehensive understanding of the legal needs of companies receiving private equity or venture capital investments. Our attorneys have also represented a number of venture capital and private equity funds in their formation, fund raising and investment activities. Our clients include investors and companies at all stages of development - from start-up to public companies - in industries as diverse as financial services, health care, high-tech, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, retail and professional services.
