    Scott Nissenbaum, Partner, PA Early Stage Partners Scott Nissenbaum, Partner, PA Early Stage Partners

    Mr. Nissenbaum joined PA Early Stage in 1998. He developed his financial and analytical skills as a co-founder and Vice President of Quaker State Mortgage Corporation. Quaker State Mortgage Corporation is a commercial mortgage banking operation that provides debt restructuring and financing for distressed commercial properties throughout the US. During his tenure, the company achieved annual growth rates of over 100 percent.

    While building the operations for Quaker State, Mr. Nissenbaum served as an adjunct faculty member in the Management Information Systems department of St. Joseph's University, focusing on business software applications. His responsibilities included instruction of five sections of undergraduates and continuing education students using software applications for business.

    Mr. Nissenbaum graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Finance and a Minor in Economics, and received his MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University. He was named one of PhillyTech Magazine's "30 under 30 to Watch in 2000," and named in the Philadelphia Business Journal's "40 under 40 to Watch in 2001." Mr. Nissenbaum is currently on the Boards of Directors of Mobility Technologies, EZ Prints, and Fortera, and is an observer to the Boards of Directors of eDuction, RenuitNow, and Haley Enterprise. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group and as a mentor and judge for the Wharton, Drexel, and Temple Venture Fairs.

    Lior E. Yahalomi, Managing Director, BDY Ventures Lior E. Yahalomi, Managing Director, BDY Ventures

    Lior is currently a Managing Director in BDY Ventures, a private venture investment and management firm based in Philadelphia, USA. Lior is also a Part-Time Faculty member at The Wharton School. He is co-teaching a Marketing Course, lecturing on Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital, and conducting research on the Corporate Venture Capital Industry. Lior was until recently the Managing Partner of the @Ventures Technology Fund, a $500 MM Venture Fund based in the Silicon Valley. Mr. Yahalomi joined @Ventures from his previous position as Vice President for New Ventures at Gateway, where he led a team responsible for Gateway's diversification into Internet, Internet access, and e-commerce businesses. He was at the forefront of Gateway's drive to move beyond its traditional hardware toward more "non-system" revenue and into the center of e-commerce.

    Prior to joining Gateway, Mr. Yahalomi was a Senior Vice President for Global Business Development at a subsidiary of GE Capital where he led a global team responsible for mergers and acquisitions, new ventures, and global expansion. He also has several years of experience as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company in Cambridge, MA, where he developed and implemented strategies for high technology and consumer-related businesses. In addition, Lior served as a Commander in the Paratrooper division of the Israeli Defense Forces.

    Lior received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. from the Wharton Business School. He is married with two children and lives in the United States.

    Eric Janszen has more than twenty years experience in executive management roles in product marketing, product management, sales and venture capital in the high tech industry. Most recently as President & CEO of Bluesocket, Inc., a WLAN Security and Management appliance company (www.bluesocket.com) from 2001 to 2004, he delivered on overall corporate direction, strategic marketing and sales planning. Under his leadership, the company raised $28 million and grew from pre-product stage to a company independently assessed in first place in its market with respect to revenue, customer and channel development, with thousands of units in production and hundreds of customers and channel partners.

    Before Bluesocket, he was Managing Director of Osborn Capital LLC where he managed a portfolio of 20 technology startups. The fund participated in seven profitable liquidity events between 1998 and 2003, including two company sales to Cisco, Microsoft, EMC and Nortel. Two portfolio companies, Arrowpoint and Interliant, conducted IPOs. Prior to his role at Osborn Capital, Janszen held management positions at Massachusetts technology companies including Cayman Systems, CenterLine Software, Media 100 and Stratus Computer. Eric is a Massachusetts Telecommunications Council board member, and writes for several online publications, including the AlwaysOn Network and Bankrate.com.

    10 years of experience in engineering, consulting, and venture capital. He is based in Washington, DC, where he provides US support for Portview and its portfolio companies.

    Since joining the group in 1998, he has evaluated investment opportunities, analyzed rapidly changing industries such as communications software, optical networking, and wireless data, and assisted senior executives with strategy and business development issues.

    Previously, Mr. Roskes co-founded a consulting firm that provided marketing and financial advisory services to Israeli high-tech companies. He also served as business development representative in Israel for three American engineering and consulting firms.

    Wayne D. Kimmel is a Managing Director of Eastern Technology Fund (ETF). ETF is a venture fund that invests in technology and healthcare companies.

    ETF and its affiliated funds - NewSpring Ventures www.newspringventures.com and Merion Investment Partners www.merionpartners.com - manage over $250 million. Kimmel is on the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of NewSpring Ventures, a $135 million SBIC venture fund.

    In addition, to his role as Managing Director of ETF, Kimmel is also the Managing Director of the ETF Partners- OPG. ETF Partners- OPG is a joint venture between ETF Partners and O'Neill Properties Group www.oneillproperties.com .

    Kimmel in his role as Managing Director of ETF Partners- OPG is a Fund Advisor for several companies involved with the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program. Kimmel prepares NMTC applications, raises capital (debt and equity), identifies real estate projects, provides advice and guidance on the NMTC program, underwrites the loans, and develops and maintains the infrastructure for compliance with the NMTC program.

    The Philadelphia Business Journal recognized Kimmel as one of the Philadelphia region's emerging leaders. In addition, Kimmel was selected as one of the Philadelphia region's 40 Under 40 young business leaders, and PhillyTech Magazine selected him as one of the 30 people under 30 to watch in the high-tech industry in the year 2000.

    Kimmel serves on several Boards of the Eastern Technology Fund's portfolio companies, and he frequently lectures on technology, management, and venture capital at various universities, corporations and seminars.

    Kimmel was the 2003 Co-Chairman of Early Stage East www.earlystageeast.org , the Mid-Atlantic region's premier Early Stage venture showcase. He is also an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group www.gpvg.com and its Education Outreach Committee, and serves on several committees for the Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference www.mavc.org .

    Furthermore, he was a Commissioner on former Philadelphia Mayor Edward Rendell's E-Commerce Commission, a task force designed to measure and to promote electronic commerce in the Greater Philadelphia region. Kimmel was the founder and co-managing Editor of atPhilly- Greater Philly's Internet email newsletter. Kimmel was also an executive with the Eastern Technology Council www.techcouncil.org , a trade organization comprised of technology companies.

    Kimmel is also an attorney and he practiced law with the law firm of Kimmel, Carter, Roman & Peltz, P.A www.kcrlaw.com . He is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.

    Kimmel is active with many philanthropic causes and serves on several non-profit boards. Kimmel is on the Board of Directors of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network www.einstein.edu .

    In addition, he is a member of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of the United Jewish Communities www.ujc.org . He is also on the Board of the Jewish Relief Agency www.jewishrelief.org and the Jewish Heritage Programs.

    He is on the Board of Trustees of the Kimmel-Spiller Foundation, and serves as the General Counsel for the foundation. He also is on the Board of Directors of the State of Delware 's Blue-Gold All-Star High School basketball game that has raises money for the Opportunity Center www.oppctr.com .

    Kimmel is a former Board member of The Enterprise Center www.theenterprisecenter.com in West Philadelphia and was the Chairman of EntrePalooza!, The Enterprise Center's largest fundraiser in 2001 and 2002.

    In 2003, Kimmel received the "Distinguished Alumni Award" from The Tatnall School www.tatnall.org in Wilmington , DE .

    He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park , and received his law degree from the Widener University School of Law. He lives in suburbs of Philadelphia , Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.

    In his role of Principal at Walker Ventures, Rusty plays a key role in the search for, and evaluation of, suitable portfolio investments. He is also responsible for analyzing, evaluating and forecasting the performance of the Walker funds, negotiating the structure and terms for investment deals, performing financial and operational due diligence reviewing and analyzing of economic trends and quarterly reporting of the funds. Additionally, our portfolio companies benefit from Rusty's experience as he assists them in developing advanced integrated business models and operating plans that incorporate business goals and strategies.Rusty is a member of the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies.

    Rusty brings more than 15 years of business management, finance, and accounting experience in the high tech industry. His four years as an IT consultant have provided him with invaluable insight into some of the unique operational, accounting, and financial challenges that may be experienced by our client companies. Rusty has held senior level finance and accounting positions with technology companies including Siemens-Nixdorf, Trusted Information Systems, Network Associates and Lockheed Martin IMS.

    Rusty holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore. He is also a licensed CPA in Maryland, a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Mid Atlantic Venture Association's YAVA, and AICPA. Additionally, Rusty is helping to cultivate successful entrepreneurs at The Idea Lab located at University of Maryland Baltimore Campus.

    Joseph R. Zell joined Grotech as a General Partner in 2002. Mr. Zell has an extensive, 20-year operating background in communications and data networking, including nine years with US West Communications (which is now Qwest Communications), where he was instrumental in building US WEST's !NTERPRISE Networking Division and was the president of the division for four years. He was most recently chief executive officer of Convergent Communications. Prior to US WEST, he held a variety of management positions at WilTel, LDXNet, United Technologies Communications, MCI Communications and Xerox Corporation.

    At Grotech, Mr. Zell focuses on investment opportunities in the communications, networking, software and outsourcing sectors. Mr. Zell currently serves or has served on the following boards: BNX Systems, BroadSoft, Hatteras Networks, iVivity, USinternetworking and Ziptronix. He is also a member of the board of Copper Mountain Networks.

    Mr. Zell graduated with honors from Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
