    Matthew Cole, Partner, North Bay Equity Partners Matthew Cole, Partner, North Bay Equity Partners

    Matthew Cole is a partner at North Bay Equity Partners, a financial advisory firm focused on private equity investments in Latin America. Prior to founding North Bay, Matt was the CEO of OneScope, a developer of international business-to-business internet marketplaces. Matt has also served as a Principal at Texas Pacific Group and as an Associate with J.P. Morgan & Co. Matt graduated from Brown University in 1992.

    Robert joined SSM in 2002. Prior to SSM, he founded Firstdoor in June of 1999 and served as CEO and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development during its first three years of operation. Prior to Firstdoor, he completed his B.S. in Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Washington and Lee, and his Master's degree in Public Health at the Yale School of Medicine in conjunction with the Yale School of Management. Robert also served on the board of the AYA (Association of Yale Alumni) and currently serves on the board of Firstdoor.

    Thomas Ross has specialized in investments that are alternatives to the normal stock and bond markets. He is a graduate of Purdue University in Aeronautical Engineering, with a MSc Industrial Management from Purdue Krannert School of Management. After several years researching international defense establishments with Boeing International Corp., he began an international career in investments, real estate and financial planning. He has an extensive background in international corporate management and business development, with investment clients in Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Over 18 years, he resided in nine different nations, and has dealt with numerous foreign and non-resident US clients. Mr. Ross was a major provider of international investment funds for pre-development land in California and Florida, assisting investors in reselling their land to developers. In the past he has been active in real estate development in California, Florida and Beirut, Lebanon. For several years, Tom edited and published of The International Financial Strategist a respected monthly investment newsletter. Mr. Ross is a speaker on investments, asset protection and emerging company capital finance. He is a Series 7 licensed NASD registered representative, and holds Florida licenses in health and life insurance. Since 1986 he has been active in early stage private equity capital investments primarily in the Southeast. His early accomplishments include earning the rank of Eagle Scout at 12 years of age, the first in Indiana to do so, and serving as Class President at Purdue University. Tom served his church as a Board member, and is active in fundraising for several non-profit organizations. He was selected as 2001 and 2003 Florida Businessman of the Year by the Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council, and as an Honorary Chairman, is appointed to the Committee's Presidential Business Commission. Tom also serves on the Business Advisory Board for the University of Florida Center of Excellence for Regenerative Health and Biotechnology.

    Doreen M. Grech, PhD, A. M. Pappas & Associates Doreen M. Grech, PhD, A. M. Pappas & Associates

    Doreen joined AMP&A in 1998 with twelve years of neuroscience and pharmacology research experience. Her experience prior to AMP&A included several years as a clinical research scientist at Cato Research Ltd. where she planned, executed and managed clinical research studies for drugs and biologics. Doreen has served as a research scientist on project teams and participated in the strategic planning and execution of nonclinical and clinical studies. Her pharmaceutical development expertise includes oncology, antivenom, anti-stroke, antidepressant, wound healing and nutraceutical products.

    Doreen received a BA degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara; an MS degree in Physiology from Texas A&M University; and a PhD degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Medical College of Virginia. She did her post-doctoral studies in Neuropharmacology at Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
