    Douglas Beekman, Snr. Associate, Advantage Capital Partners Douglas Beekman, Snr. Associate, Advantage Capital Partners

    Mr. Beekman is involved in the origination, analysis, and negotiation of new investments, and provides administrative, financial, and strategic planning support to portfolio companies.

    Mr. Beekman has also had extensive experience in the merger and acquisition arena. He was previously the Manager of Corporate Development for the Danaher Corporation where he completed 15 transactions, both public and private, in the United States and in Europe.

    Prior to that, he was with the Investment Banking Division of Alex. Brown and Sons in the Media and Communications Group. His work included transactions in the competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) and wireless communications industries.

    Mr. Beekman has a Master of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. degree in Government from Dartmouth College.

    Kathy Harris, SVP, Business Development, Noro-Moseley Partners Kathy Harris, SVP, Business Development, Noro-Moseley Partners

    Ms. Harris joined NMP in 2002 as Senior Vice President - Business Development. With more than 20 years of financial and private equity experience, she focuses on identifying and evaluating attractive growth stage companies.

    Prior to NMP, Ms. Harris was a Partner at Atlanta-based Technology Ventures where she evaluated investment opportunities primarily in the software and information technology areas and actively worked with the firm's portfolio companies. Prior to Technology Ventures, Ms. Harris served as Vice President/National Marketing Manager of Sirrom Capital Corporation, where she oversaw all business development and loan origination activities. Prior to Sirrom, Ms. Harris spent more than 10 years at J.C. Bradford & Co. (now UBS/PaineWebber) where she was a Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking group. While at Bradford, Ms. Harris was involved in public equity and debt offerings, private placements and M&A/advisory work for a broad array of industries. Ms. Harris started her career at KPMG International and is a licensed CPA in Tennessee.

    A native of Kentucky, Ms. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Murray State University and an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University.

    Andy Rose, Principal, Peachtree Equity Partners Andy Rose, Principal, Peachtree Equity Partners

    Andy is a founder of Peachtree and is responsible for originating, structuring, executing and managing investments for the firm. Peachtree Equity Partners is a $110 million Atlanta-based private equity fund that pursues non-control debt and equity investments in established, profitable companies with at least $2 million of EBITDA. The capital for Peachtree’s fund is provided by a series of investment partnerships managed by Goldman, Sachs & Co. From 1997 to 2002, Andy was a Vice President of Wachovia Capital Associates, responsible for analysis, structuring, due diligence and documentation related to Wachovia's principal investing activities. In addition, Andy monitored investments and advised portfolio company management on business strategy, acquisitions and exit strategies. Andy joined Wachovia in 1996 as an Associate in the Corporate Finance Group. Prior to Wachovia, Andy worked at Chase Securities as a member of the Private Placements group in 1995 and at J.P. Morgan from 1992 to 1994. Andy serves on the Board of Directors of several Peachtree portfolio companies. Andy received his M.B.A from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Prior to co-founding Ballast Point Ventures in 2001, Mr. Graham spent six years at South Atlantic Venture Funds. Mr. Graham joined South Atlantic in 1995 and was both a Principal and General Partner in South Atlantic Ventures Fund IV. He has participated in numerous venture capital investments across several industries, including communications, software, health care and business services.

    Mr. Graham began his private equity career with the Merchant Banking Division of Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. in New York from 1989 to 1991.

    He graduated from Princeton University in 1989 with a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, and from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1995 with an MBA, with Distinction.

    Casey West, Vice President, SSM Ventures Casey West, Vice President, SSM Ventures

    Casey joined SSM in 2004. His investment and advisory experiences have been focused on the healthcare and business services sectors. Prior to SSM, Casey was a Vice President at Petra Capital Partners, a Nashville-based private equity firm focusing on investments in later stage growth companies in the healthcare and business services sectors. Prior to Petra, Casey worked in Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's New York-based healthcare investment banking group. Casey received his bachelor's degree in History from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
