    Charles Humphreyson, GP, HO2 Partners Charles Humphreyson, GP, HO2 Partners

    Charlie Humphreyson has over two decades of experience in the PC industry both selling hardware and developing software. This background, combined with nearly a decade working as a professional investor, gives him a unique blend of experience for HO2 Partners.

    Charlie was a founding executive of Contact Software International, Inc., the developers and marketers of ACT! contact management software, which became the international leader in its category. When CSI was sold for more than $46 million to Symantec Corp. in 1993, he became an investor and advisor to several Internet-related companies, and was engaged as a consultant for Internet opportunities with the Sevin Rosen Funds.

    A former U.S. Navy nuclear submariner, Charlie serves on the boards of directors of GlobeRanger Corporation, traq-wireless, inc. and Voyence, and the advisory board for the Southwest Venture Forum. He is a guest lecturer in the Executive MBA programs at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

    P. Stan Keith, Private Investor and CEO, Capital Pulse P. Stan Keith, Private Investor and CEO, Capital Pulse

    Mr. Keith is a private investor active in several emerging growth, privately financed companies. He is President of Promettre International Ventures, Inc., a closely held investment corporation involved in angel and venture capital financings since 1992, in addition to serving as President and CEO of Capital Pulse.

    Mr. Keith was a co-founder of CompUSA, Inc., and served from 1987-1992 as Executive Vice-President-Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Keith began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., an international public accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Texas), and obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration (Accounting) from The University of Oklahoma in 1981.

    Other companies in which Mr. Keith serves include General Partner of Addison Airport Facilities, Ltd., and Board Member of both Cadco Systems, Inc., and Kalm-Forsythe Global Innovations.

    Ed Olkkola, General Partner, Austin Ventures Ed Olkkola, General Partner, Austin Ventures

    Ed Olkkola joined Austin Ventures in 1998 and focuses on hardware investing. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Compaq Computer Corp, serving as vice president and general manager of the communications division. Prior to his operating role, he was vice president of business development and strategic technology planning at Compaq. Before joining Compaq, Ed spent 10 years with the Motorola Information Systems Group in a variety of engineering, marketing, strategy and finance roles. At Compaq, he led a number of industry-wide initiatives, including the Universal ADSL coalition of Compaq, Intel, Microsoft, and major telecommunications carriers and equipment vendors which helped jumpstart the product development and rollout of commercial DSL service offerings. He has brought dozens of new products to market during his Compaq and Motorola careers, acquired several companies totaling over a billion dollars, and invested in several startup companies during his Compaq tenure, generating top quartile venture returns. He currently serves on the advisory boards of StarTECH II, an incubator in the Richardson, TX Telecom Corridor, and Sternhill Partners, an IT focused venture firm in Houston, TX. He holds patents in core communications and network technologies including home networking and real-time signal processing.

    Ed received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, holds an MBA from Northeastern University, and completed the Compaq executive leadership program at Harvard University.
