Started by serial entrepreneurs and investors, Adrian Mendoza and Senofer Mendoza, the investment thesis is this - Focus on helping startups grow by leveraging the experience of advisors and investors in their respective fields. By giving experience and accountability first, learning more about the team, technology and market, only then can an informed investment be made. In September 2018, Mendoza Ventures announced the raising of its 10 million dollar fund focusing on pre-seed Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, and Cybersecurity startups. Mendoza Ventures gives its portfolio companies direct connections to our investors - helping them leverage their network, expertise, and guidance. Our strength is investing in the pre-seed funding round (between friends and family and Seed). We look for capital efficient companies who are at first customer, MVP, or have a clear path to customers or revenue.
