    Josh Rieders is an Angel Investor and Associate at VU Venture Partners. He is also the founder of GroverScore.com. GroverScore helps startups filter and hire the best college talent for jobs, internships, and projects to bolster growth while giving students the opportunity to build their industry experience. Josh also serves as an advisor to early-stage startups looking to improve their sales process and fundraising efforts. Before joining the startup community as a VC and entrepreneur, Josh sold financial instruments to C-Suite wealth managers at First Eagle Investment Management and Prudential Investments. Josh was the initial member of the sales team at the startup options trading platform tradeMONSTER (Acquired by OptionsHouse) and worked directly with the CEO on customer acquisition.

    Dimitris is a VC at the Creator Fund (WeWork's VC arm). Prior to that, Dimitris was a VC at Newark Venture Partners, worked at Placemeter (Techstars NYC '13), and was at Silicon Valley Bank working with early stage startups and investors.

    Marie Rocha, Realist Ventures Marie Rocha, Realist Ventures

    Marie Rocha is the co-founder of Realist Ventures. A CT based Venture Fund investing in tech, software, and biotech startups. While not a social fund, Realist primarily invests in startups with a diverse team that are solving problems that can benefit all. Previous to Realist Ventures Marie ran a software company that built platforms for small businesses and nonprofits. She is involved with several local nonprofits including, Technology Chair on the boards of Kids Helping Kids and Greenwich Academy. In her spare time, she advises women on building and scaling their businesses.

    Sumeet Shah, Swiftarc Ventures Sumeet Shah, Swiftarc Ventures

    Sumeet Shah has an over 11-year career spanning the private equity, venture capital, and startup worlds, managing business development and partnerships for various sizes of consumer-facing organizations as well as investing in the the next generation of brands. Currently, he handles sourcing and investments at Swiftarc Ventures, an brand new early-stage consumer-focused venture capital firm led by a team of seasoned veterans launching, scaling, investing in, and merging some of the most successful consumer startups, privately-backed companies, and Fortune 500 conglomerates.

    Prior to Swiftarc Ventures, Sumeet provided short-term strategy and business development assistance as well as fundraising advice and guidance to various companies, including:

    Baron Fig, makers of notebooks, writing tools, and desk essentials ("Tools for Thinkers"), Galvanize, a nationwide community of campuses focused on making education as their VC in Residence, The US division of NewsPicks (now a division of Quartz), a refined news experience where content is picked by experts and thought-leaders Worn, a mission-based creative agency focused on women in business.

    Sumeet then previously handled sourcing and new investments as a Principal at Brand Foundry Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm focused on low-tech and high-tech consumer products and devices. He also assisted in the creation of XRC Labs, a consumer and retail accelerator run by Kurt Salmon and Parsons, as the Program Manager for their inaugural class and Head of Strategic Partnerships for their second class.

    Finally, Sumeet ran new business strategies at Gist Digital, a mobile and app development studio, and handling business development and project work at Gotham Consulting Partners, a private equity focused consulting firm.

    Sumeet graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a concentration in Biomechanics.

    John Henry is a Dominican-American entrepreneur and investor passionate about building vibrant communities.

    As an entrepreneur, John started his first company in 2012; an on-demand laundry startup that specialized in handling wardrobe for the Film / TV industry in NYC. He lead the company until it's acquisition in 2014.

    Henry then went on to launch Cofound Harlem - a non-profit incubator that aims to help foster a robust tech ecosystem North of 96th street. As part of the program, selected applicants receive complimentary office space and mentorship in exchange for a commitment to stay physically located in Harlem for two years.

    Eventually, John would foray into venture investments. John currently serves as a Partner at Harlem Capital, a diversity-focused early stage investment firm on a mission to change the face of entrepreneurship. John Henry, a New York City native, was raised in Florida and currently resides in Harlem.

    Sandy Wollman is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Westchester Angels. He is also on the Executive Committee for the Veridian Member’s Fund and member of the ARC Angels and has reviewed well over 1000 pitches in the past year. He knows what works and what doesn’t!

    Sandy is starring in ”Break Through the Crowd” a new TV show which features startups pitching to investors to get to the next round where the winner receives a large crowdfunding prize. The show combines elements of Shark Tank and The Apprentice and is being televised on Zee Tv in the USA, Canada and the Caribbean.

    In addition Sandy created and leads the New York Area Angel Group Leaders Initiative which brings the Directors of the largest Angel Groups in the Tri-State Area together to share deal flow. Being intimately involved in his community Sandy serves on the Westchester County Task force for innovation and created a non-profit to help small business owners succeed.

    He is an accomplished distance athlete having competed 3 Ironman Triathlons, The Swim Around Manhattan and was the 470th individual to successfully swim the English Channel.
