    Jack is a Senior Associate at Touchdown Ventures, joining the team in 2017 and focusing on investments in the Internet of Things (IoT) and physical security sectors. Before Touchdown, Jack gained operating experience at Personal Capital, a venture-backed startup in Silicon Valley, and was co-founder and President of the Philadelphia InSITE Fellowship chapter while attending business school. Prior to that, he spent time in the New York venture ecosystem evaluating investment opportunities at Laconia Capital Group, New York Angels, and Virgil Capital. Jack previously worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he specialized in short-term interest rate products. Jack holds a BA in History from Duke University and MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors as an Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing & Operations major.

    David Magerman is a managing partner at Differential Ventures. He is an experienced hedge fund manager, computer scientist, and angel investor. He has a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. His thesis on Natural Language Parsing as Statistical Pattern Recognition, published in 1994, was an early and successful attempt to use large-scale data to produce fully-automated syntactic analysis of text. After graduating, he spent the entirety of his career at Renaissance Technologies, widely recognized as the best quantitative hedge fund management company in the world. He helped found the equities trading group at Renaissance, joining the group in its earliest days, playing a lead role in designing and building the trading, simulation, and estimation software. On an extended garden leave from quantitative finance, he is looking to use his data science, software development, and statistical modeling expertise to help Israeli startups succeed in the global marketplace.

    For more than 13 years, Michael Kelley has been executing and managing principal investments in venture capital and real estate. He is the founder and principal of Formation Capital, Inc. (“Formation”), which currently manages in excess of $50 million in equity invested in 30 investments. Formation’s venture portfolio includes Foxfire Printing and Packaging, iProcess Online and Performance Systems Development. Formation also manages investments in multi-family developments utilizing the Low-income Housing Tax Credit. At Formation he personally developed an online fund management system that allows all stakeholders to collaborate, upload or access information based on permissions. Prior to Formation, Mr. Kelley was a principal with HK Special Situations Group, where he provided advisory services to the US Small Business Administration regarding a troubled Small Business Investment Company. He was also a principal with GSA Management and with Intrust USA. At Intrust he was responsible for raising and investing 4 real estate tax credit funds and one venture capital fund. In addition to serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Innovation Fund, Mr. Kelley sits on the boards of Foxfire Printing, Early Stage East, and the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League. Mr. Kelley received his BA degree in History magna cum laude from the University of Delaware.
