    Michael Hool is our founding Partner. Michael works with select companies as an advisor, legal counsel and periodically serves in executive and board capacities. Michael practice is focused primarily on corporate and commercial representation, securities, finance and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and all aspects of counseling emerging companies. He represents both issuing companies and investors in a large variety of financing transactions.

    Michael broad merger and acquisition experience ranges from very large transactions such as the acquisition and financing of an NHL hockey franchise, several roll-up acquisitions combined with a public offering of the acquirer, the sale of health care systems, consolidation of 71 franchise operations, to acquisition and sale of a variety of closely-held and emerging enterprises.     Roger is the Founder and CEO of ChiefPeople, an executive & technical recruitment firm. He’s an active angel investor, board member and advisor to a number of tech start-ups, including Manage, Cashbet, GetPinn, and TRPZ.

    Roger is the Founder and lead investor of, a social media research platform. He’s been published in Forbes and Fortune magazine and has appeared on CNN News as a subject matter expert (start-ups/recruiting).

    Bradley B. Bertoch, President of Bradley B. Bertoch, President of

    Bradley B. Bertoch serves as President of—a 33year old nonprofit, nationally recognized, entrepreneurship/technology commercialization organization. does two things very well: 1) Picks potential winners, and 2) turn them into winners through a venture community based mentoring program. Studies show that 70% of Alumni raise capital, and 80% are still in business after 10 years. Since 2009, Utah companies participating in a venture program have gone on to raise over $1.1 billion in Angel/venture capital transactions, and account for over 30,000 jobs.

    He is a member of SLC and Park City angel groups and founder of WBI Angels, was a venture partner with Hamilton Bio-Ventures Fund II, and currently runs a $7 million venture debt fund for Salt Lake County.

    Dmitriy Chebotarev is the Founder and Manager of the General Partner, Oxford Fund Managers, LLC. Mr. Chebotarev is also the Founder, President and Chairman of Oxford Investment Partners, LLC, an Orange County-based real estate investment company, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vosht Healthcare, a newly-formed medical service provider in the neurological care space.

    Mr. Chebotarev was born in Moscow, Russia and maintains dual citizenship between the United States and the Russian Federation. He spent his formative years as an avid researcher of diplomatic and regional history, and his adult years as a proponent of intelligent relations between Russia and the US. He has a large network of political and business contacts that he is actively involved with to discuss the current state of affairs with Russia and how a strong relationship can be formed with a positive net impact on the US society and economy.

    From 2013 - present, Mr. Chebotarev has served as President and Chairman of Oxford Investment Partners, LLC, an Orange County-based real estate investment company.     Mr. Chebotarev is also actively involved with a non-profit organization that researches the brain and diseases that are associated with it.

    Prior to Oxford Investment Partners, LLC, Mr. Chebotarev held key roles in the following companies:

    - DaVita Healthcare Partners - A Fortune 500 company where Mr. Chebotarev led business critical operations, oversaw and conducted complex financial audits, and implemented strategic corporate process improvement initiatives.

    - Berkley Enterprises & Cambridge Companies - While at Cambridge, a well-respected investment firm out of Las Vegas, Mr. Chebotarev led the business development team as Chief Business Development Officer. His focus was on strategic joint-equity partnerships and developing and maintaining investor relations through sustainable finance and analytics.

    Mr. Chebotarev is a member of several charitable and professional organizations and maintains that it is extremely important to be active in the local community. Some of the organizations that Mr. Chebotarev is a member of include:

    - Mensa & Triple Nine Society – where passion, motivation and intelligence collide.

    - Lincoln Club Orange County – a group comprised of prominent business men and women.

    - The Pacific Club – Nationally recognized as one of the most prestigious private city clubs in the country

    Mr. Chebotarev lives in Orange County, California where he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing guitar, and the occasional squash match with friends. He is actively involved in the investment/finance industry as well as California/National politics and is recognized as a subject matter expert in both.

    Angel Investor Lars Christensen is the CEO & Founder of TouchPoint Promotions.

    TouchPoint's goal was to create a truly customer-centric, first-class promotion company.  Lars started the company in a basement with a credit card when he was 26. TouchPoint has distinguished itself as one of the country’s premier promotional fulfillment companies, boasting an impeccable customer service record and an enviable client roster, including General Motors, GE,  Discount Tire, McKesson and Continental Tire. Lars recently sold TouchPoint to Blackhawk Network, a public company from the Bay Area, and is looking for opportunities to invest in other companies where he can provide value. 

    Prior to establishing TouchPoint, Lars worked in Marketing at Qwest Communications, where he was responsible for the company’s high speed DSL internet service, among other products and services. Other experience includes a successful career in marketing and sales with PepsiCo, where he had the opportunity to hone his business, marketing and communications skills under the mentorship of some talented marketing executives.     Mark Hagar is the Managing Member of the Regional Angel Investment Network based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

    One of today’s most experienced and knowledgeable business consultants, speakers and expert witnesses he’s a prolific entrepreneur who’s founded, bought and sold multiple firms.     Mark is a Doctoral Candidate at the prestigious Cranfield University School of Management in Bedford England, a Faculty Lecturer at numerous US-based universities and a featured speaker on the Results Junkies North American Tech Tour. He has recently been named Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Newcastle School of Business at Northumbria University in Newcastle England and is a member of the Small Business Charter of England.

    Tom Cervantez works in operations with Accelerator Ventures (AVC) in San Francisco, is a real estate investor and lawyer/advisor for early stage ventures. Tom brings strong deal background AVC, having been a venture deal lawyer since 1992 and completed hundreds of financings and M&A transactions in Silicon Valley.

    Tom has also co-founded 2 companies that were subsequently acquired, Geonet (acquired by Level 3 Networks) and Britton Silberman & Cervantez LLP (Acquired by Thelen Reid & Priest). Tom also presently is a founding partner with Bizlaw, a law firm that works with venture capital and startup clients in Silicon Valley.

    On the investment side, Tom has been an active angel investor since the early 1990s, with investments including Open Table (IPO), Friendster (acquired by MOL Global), Knowledgeweb (acquired by iVillage), Virtual Chips (acquired by Phoenx Technologies), Three Rings (acquired by SEGA), Specialty Café & Bakery (acquired by Cadena Comercial USA/FEMCO) and Survox (acquired by Enghouse Interactive).

    Tom also co-founded the HBS Alumni Angels, the global angel investment alumni group for Harvard Business School and the HBS Latino Alumni Association. Tom is also on the Board of the HBS Alumni Association of Northern California and recently completed his 3 year term on the HBS Global Alumni Advisory Board.

    Tom speaks frequently on topics of venture investment and deal structuring, including at UC Berkeley, Stanford and Harvard. Tom holds a BA in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and a JD/MBA from Harvard University.

    Mr. Norton is a Managing Partner, the Global Head of Real Estate and Alternative Investments at Green Mesa Capital (GMC), a single-family office headquartered in Henderson, Nevada (2014 to present). Prior to co-founding GMC, Mr. Norton was a Partner, Head of Investments & Research at National Capital Partners (NCP), a real estate private equity fund targeting distressed assets and note purchases (2008 – 2013). Prior to NCP, Mr. Norton was an Analyst for Daniels Capital Partners (DCP), a real estate private equity fund focused on the entitlement and development of raw land (2004 – 2007). Prior to DCP, Mr. Norton founded MotiVox, a customized VoIP Video Conferencing software for file sharing and online collaboration, later evolving into an MSDN Partner of Microsoft. MotiVox was a Korea-based venture which was created while consulting for Korea Petroleum (2002 – 2004). Mr. Norton was an interpreter for the Korean Olympic Committee and Korean Paralympic Committee during the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympics.

    Mr. Norton is a member of the Alternative Investment Management Association, CAIA Association, CCIM Institute, CFA Institute, Construction Financial Management Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, and is actively involved with NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Pension Real Estate Association, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The Counselors of Real Estate, Urban Land Institute, and U.S. Green Building Council. Mr. Norton currently serves as a Director of VeriComply, Inc. (2016 to present), volunteers as a mentor to students at the UNLV Lee Business School’s Finance Department, and volunteers for the UNLV Lied Institute for Real Estate.     Phillip H.
