Brad Kayton is a serial entrepreneur turned parallel, having made a number of investments in start-ups over the past few years as well as acting as an advisor or consultant to a number of start-ups. Brad is a member of Launchpad Venture Group. Brad has started five companies operationally, a few others as the first funder, and he adds the most value in the early years of a company's life-cycle. Brad has been a CEO four times, a board member often, came up through the ranks operationally on the product manager-marketing side, and began his career as a software programmer. Brad has an MBA and a Masters in Communications Technology and lives in the Boston metro area.

Prashanth "PV" Boccasam is a General Partner at NBVP. He has over 20 years of operational and executive management experience. PV is currently on the Boards of Appfluent Technologies (acquired by Attunity (NASDAQ: ATTU), Appian Corporation, Centrifuge Systems and Copiun (acquired by Good Technology). He was also an investor and co-founder of ClearStandards (acquired by SAP). Presently, PV is the Chief Executive Officer of Novak Biddle portfolio company Orchestro (formerly Vision Chain) for which he sets the vision, strategy and governance for the evolving company. He is also on the Board of Directors, working with the management team to refocus and restructure the Company and to position it for high-growth. PV was the founder and CEO of Approva Corporation (acquired by Infor-Lawson) and founder and president of Entevo Corporation (acquired by Bindview Corporation). Both of these enterprise software companies were invested in by Novak Biddle and other top-tier venture capitalists and were successfully acquired. PV launched his career at Microsoft where he managed enterprise-class products and directed consulting services. PV is President and a board member of TiE-DC. PV is also the Chairperson of Pratham-DC, India's largest non-governmental educational non-profit group. He is an investor and advisor in Communikids, the Washington, DC, metro area's only premier bilingual pre-school for children. PV holds advanced degrees in Computer Science from the University of Pune in India and the University of Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at MIT's Sloan School of Management and is a Fellow at the University of Marylandís Smith Business School.

Brian Compagnone is President of Pitch Capital, a newly launched subsidiary of the Foundry Sports Group. In this role, Brian is responsible for the overall direction of the firm and seed/early stage venture investment activities.
Prior to joining Pitch Capital, Brian founding a strategic consulting practice, Kinematic Ventures, focused on helping companies acquire capital and create sustainable value. Additionally, Brian has invested in a number of companies aiming to solve problems largely in the energy and healthcare sectors.
Brian has also worked at Disruption Corporation/Crystal Tech Fund, served as a political appointee at the Small Business Administration in the Office of Entrepreneurship Education and founded a successful retail sporting goods chain based in Colorado. In his early career, he held various roles working on public policy issues for Colorado State University and in the US House of Representatives.
Brian earned an MBA from Colorado State University, MS from the University of Northern Colorado and a BA from Skidmore College. He currently resides in Arlington, VA and regularly competes in ultra-running events when not coaching his daughter's softball team.

Andrew McDermott is currently a Healthcare Management student, entrepreneur, and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Honor Homes, Inc., a student-veteran housing corporation. He has been angel investing for nearly 10 years since he first learned of the important role while studying at the Institute for Entrepreneurship at Shenandoah University. Since serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, his focus has mainly been on making investments in and advising start-ups that creatively improve individual and population health. Andrew also serves on the Board for Public Service and Scholarship at Shenandoah University and is a member of the Society for Judgment and Decision Making

Jim Koehr has been growing as an entrepreneur and investor since 2001 when he left life as a corporate IT, Sales, Quality, Planning and Operations Vice President to run without a net. Since then, while representing von Drehle Corporation to supply toilet paper and paper towels to very large retailers nationwide, he has founded or acquired numerous entrepreneurial ventures that have grown into the largest commercial flooring company in central Virginia, real estate investment companies in the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia and Richmond, VA, and two Title and Settlement companies. At 50 years old, Jim completed an Executive MBA in the top 10% of his class at the Darden Graduate School of Business at UVa.

Out of Darden, Jim formed a small venture capital firm called Sorin Angel Capital that focuses on investments in seed-stage companies. Sorin Angel Capital has made 39 investments in 27 different companies and is currently investing for Fund IV. Jim sits on the Boards of three of Sorinís portfolio companies, and he was recently appointed an independent director for Clean Earth, a portfolio company of the public private equity firm Compass Diversified Holdings.

Jim is also very active in school and community. He has coached eight (8) Virginia State Championship high school swimming teams, earned the Outstanding Educator award from the Virginia Governors School for his work as a high school math teacher, and serves (served) as Chairman of three charitable foundations plus the Fauquier Economic Development Authority. Jim is on numerous other school and community and advisory boards.

Married 33 years to his college sweetheart from the University of Notre Dame, Jim and Colleen have 12 children, six of whom (including one son-in-law) are either military officers or training to be military officers in ROTC programs, and two of whom have been deployed into harmís way. Jim and Colleen proudly had their 6th and 7th grandchildren earlier this year.

Nick Adams is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Differential Ventures. Previously, Nick was a Venture Partner at Supernode.vc, f.k.a. Flatiron Investors, in New York City where he evaluated hundreds of seed- stage SaaS companies and led the due diligence for multiple investments. Before moving into an investment position, Nick held senior sales, marketing and product management roles for software companies that have realized over $1.3 billion in exit value, including: Opower (IPO), RAGE Frameworks (acquired by Genpact), Basware (Publicly-traded on OMX), and Comverge (acquired by Itron). He actively mentors startups out of Cornell Tech, NYU, and Northeastern University. Nick has a MSc in Global Finance from NYU and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a MBA in Corporate Finance from Northeastern University and a BA in History from Brandeis University where he played four years of varsity baseball.
