    Will Porteous, Principal, RRE Ventures Will Porteous, Principal, RRE Ventures

    Mr. Porteous is a Principal with RRE Ventures. He is a Director of Frictionless Commerce, Softcoin, Tacit Networks and TestQuest, Inc. During 1994-1995, he served in various marketing and business development roles for NetMarket, an Internet commerce pioneer now owned by Cendant Corporation. From 1996 to 1998 Mr. Porteous served as Product Manager for SupplyWorks, Inc., an application service provider for corporate purchasing. Mr. Porteous also served as a consultant to the Internet Purchasing Roundtable in the development of the Open Buying on the Internet (OBI) standard. In 1999 he was a Summer Associate at Euclid Partners. Mr. Porteous holds an MBA from Harvard University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA with Honors from Stanford University.

    Reg Greiner is a Financial Analyst having joined UBS Capital in July of 2001. He focuses on Strategic Investments as well as Third Party Fund Investments. Prior to UBS Capital, Reggie was an Associate in Rare Medium's Corporate Strategy and Venture group. During his tenure, he worked on corporate M&A activity, including the divestiture of Rare Medium's Incubator Program and Wireless Division. Prior to Rare Medium, Reggie was a participant in the Thomson Financial Management Development Program and spent two years with various divisions under Thomson Financial including Venture Economics. Reggie received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, from Siena College and a Certificate in International Business from Georgetown University/ A.U.. Raised in Clinton, New York, he currently lives in Stamford, CT.

    Marc co-founded BEV in 1997. Prior to BEV, Marc worked for four years as a Senior Associate at Consumer Venture Partners. Previously, he served in the Investment Banking Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Marc is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

    Stephen Ciesinski, Partner, Earlybird Stephen Ciesinski, Partner, Earlybird

    Steve Ciesinski joined Earlybird in 2000, and primarily focuses on the high technology practice. Previously, Steve served as President and CEO of Resumix Inc., a leading supplier of technology-based applications for e-recruiting and human skills management. Resumix was merged with (now part of Yahoo!) in May 2000. Steve was formerly an Executive Vice President with Octel Communications, a worldwide leader in voice messaging products (now part of Lucent Technologies). He also held management positions at Applied Materials and Procter & Gamble, and was a consultant with the international professional services firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

    He has been an active private company investor and advisor in Silicon Valley for over 15 years, and has served on a number of public and private boards. Currently, he is on the boards of private companies, IQ Labs and InTime Software. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Union College, and serves on the President's Cabinet of the California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an A.B. in Modern Languages from Union College and an MBA from Stanford University.
