    Scott Kelly Founder and CEO of Black Dog Venture Partners, is a 25 year fundraising, marketing, sales, training and publicity veteran. Scott has raised millions of dollars in capital for disruptive companies, garnered national media coverage for hundreds of regional and national brands and generated millions of dollars in revenues for the companies he has represented. He has also trained over 1,000 sales people and has taught marketing at the university level in the United States and Europe. When not helping fund and grow companies, Scott spends his time at countless sporting events with his wife and two boys. He loves a good craft beer and playing with his “Black Dog” Shamus.

    Brad Greenwald is the Managing Partner of Hilltop Venture Partners. Over the past 25 years, Brad has successfully launched and operated innovative start-up and corporate businesses. Hilltop invests primarily in seed stage Internet-based service businesses. Brad began his career at management consulting firm Bain & Co. Brad went on to management roles (sales/marketing and operations) in several successful businesses including Time Warner Cable, Loyalty Management Group, DLF Capital, and WildBlue Communications. He has helped raise over $200 million to fund start-ups including First To File, Springridge Development Corp, Flextrip and WildBlue. In 2010, Brad founded and currently serves as Chairman of the marketing services firm Education Funding Partners (Regional Winner of the Harvard Business School New Venture Contest). Brad is an Adjunct Professor of Executive MBA Strategy and Entrepreneurial programs at the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business. Brad founded the Denver Angel Club in 2009, is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership, and has served on the Board of Directors for several non-profits including Oxfam America, Food Bank of the Rockies, the Jewish Community Foundation and Operation Frontline. Brad was named a 2000 Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, and received the 2006 SOS National Community Leader Award. Brad received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He resides in Denver, CO with his wife and children.

    Michael Hool is our founding Partner. Michael works with select companies as an advisor, legal counsel and periodically serves in executive and board capacities. Michael practice is focused primarily on corporate and commercial representation, securities, finance and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and all aspects of counseling emerging companies. He represents both issuing companies and investors in a large variety of financing transactions.
