Here are the Investor speakers from our Sold-Out CLT VC & Angel Investor Funding Strategy Panel, sponsored by Hygge, Crowded.com. This event was in Hygge Coworking- Charlotte on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
Lauren Layne- Chambers of Commerce
A native of North Carolina, Lauren fell in love with nonprofits early in her career. Inspired by volunteering in her own community, Lauren quickly developed a passion for community-minded marketing. After graduating the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Lauren quickly dove into enriching her community and leading fundraising campaigns for various organizations. Her vast understanding of the value of stewardship required for all success has made lasting impressions on each organization in which she has served.
Experience working with executive professionals has allowed Lauren to polish her ability to realize benefits for champion investors and small business entrepreneurs alike. Recently, she has spent time working with high-growth entrepreneurs to shed light on the resources available within the community. Their spirited announcements of success created additional entrepreneurial interest in the Charlotte region and enhanced focus on internal cross-team partnerships for the chamber. She is delighted by the possibility of continuing her passion and providing businesses with growth solutions supported by the Charlotte Chamber.
When she’s not serving “Chamber Kool-Aid” to the business community in her roll on the investor relations team, Lauren can be found making new friends, fostering her small obsession with shopping, and spending time with her two small dogs, Mina and Stoli.
