    Laura Brege, Partner, Red Rock Ventures Laura Brege, Partner, Red Rock Ventures

    Laura Brege was formerly Chief Financial Officer at COR Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly held biopharmaceutical company. Prior to COR, she held senior financial positions at Flextronics and The Cooper Companies. Earlier she had several banking positions in Chicago. Laura has a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in government from Ohio University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

    Mike Shwe, Associate, Bay Partners Mike Shwe, Associate, Bay Partners

    Mike covers enterprise software at Bay Partners. Prior to joining Bay, Mike was Senior Development Manager at Kana Communications where he was responsible for major releases of several Kana products. Prior to Kana, Mike was a program manager and then President of Knowledge Industries, an AI research and consulting company. Before that, Mike was a software engineer at Ameritech Knowledge Data Systems, developing a clinical data repository product.

    Mike is on the board of Peakstone , and works closely with several of Bay’s enterprise software investments, including GuideWire, Viewceler, and Netabase.

    Mike received his Bachelor's degree from Stanford University in Symbolic Systems and Master of Science degree in Medical Informatics from Stanford.

    Hank Barry, Partner, Hummer Winblad Hank Barry, Partner, Hummer Winblad

    Hank Barry is a partner at Hummer Winblad. He joined the firm in July 1999. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Hank was a partner with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he led the firm's interactive new media practice. At WSGR, Hank was principal outside counsel to several pioneering Internet companies, including Global Village Communications, Looksmart, Liquid Audio and NetDynamics. From May 2000 through July 2001 Hank served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Napster, Inc.

    Hank holds a B.A. degree in economics with highest distinction from the University of Michigan and a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School, where he was managing editor of the Stanford Law Review. He currently serves on the Boards of several nonprofit organizations, and is a member of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School. He is on the Board of Sensoria Corporation.

    Tim McAdam, General Partner, Trinity Ventures Tim McAdam, General Partner, Trinity Ventures

    Tim McAdam joined Trinity in 2000 and has been in the venture capital industry for twelve years. Prior to joining Trinity, Tim worked as a vice president at GTCR in Chicago, where he led investments in the information technology services, communications, logistics and outsourced business services industries. Tim began his career at Merrill Lynch in its investment banking analyst program, and later joined TA Associates in Boston as an associate focusing on application software.

    Education: Tim received a BA in Classics from Dartmouth College in 1990 and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1996.
