    Kevin has over 15 years of investment experience, in both public and private markets. He graduated with a BBA in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA from Texas Christian University in 1999. Accepted to many prestigious universities, Kevin chose to attend TCU which allowed him to enter college as a junior. While at TCU, Kevin founded StreetAdvisor, to provide individual investors with unbiased analysis of individual stocks, building a team which included 20 financial analysts.

    After the sale of StreetAdvisor to IDEAglobal, Kevin worked as a Vice President and Chief Technology Visionary for the company, leading the company's equity research effort, negotiating a continuation of its Pioneer Tax Status with the Singapore Economic Development Board, and acquiring a company to enable delivery of research with SMS messaging in 2001. Kevin became a CFA Charterholder in 2002.

    After leaving IDEAglobal, Kevin joined Luther King Capital Management in 2002 to help develop its alternative asset management practice, initially focusing on private transactions. Kevin was a principal of the group acquiring and investing in middle market companies in a broad range of industries, and served as a director of multiple companies, including LKCM Radio Group, BTWW Retail Partners, and Rawson. Kevin was a founding Principal of LKCM Private Discipline, LP, a hybrid partnership started in 2006. In his role, Kevin took an active role in taking a public industrial distributor private in 2008, worked with management of a public broadcasting company, and helped form a group to successfully block a transaction not in the interests of holders of a preferred stock in which the fund held a significant position. After leaving Luther King Capital Management in 2013, Kevin has been an active investor in both public and private markets.

    Mr. Kreis has over 20 years of investment experience across many types of financial instruments in both global public and private equity markets. Currently, he is the Managing Principal at Steelhead Capital Management, a private equity investment firm that manages a portfolio of small business investments and start-up ventures. Mr. Kreis is also a founding member of Cowtown Angels, a Fort Worth based angel investment network. Prior to this, Mr. Kreis was a Vice President at HBK Investments, a multi-strategy global hedge fund based in Dallas, TX. During his 11-year tenure with the firm, he managed a $3 billion global capital structure arbitrage portfolio comprised of stocks, bonds and derivatives products. He was one of two professionals responsible for launching HBK's London office, and he traded in many financial markets including Japan, India, Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and the U.S. Mr. Kreis received a B.B.A in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1994.

    Sammy is a co-founder of The DAN, former entrepreneur, and active angel investor. He runs the day to day operations of The DAN full-time including screening opportunities, working with entrepreneurs, and structuring and diligencing deals.

    Prior to The DAN, Sammy was a Vice President with a credit opportunities fund known as Congruent Investment Partners. Before joining Congruent, Sammy was with Prudential Capital Group in Dallas.

    Sammy's career has always centered around structuring and diligencing deals. While at Congruent, he was promoted to Vice President from Associate and grew with the firm as it eclipsed $400mm in assets under management. While at Prudential Capital Group, Sammy was a Senior Analyst, working as part of an 11 person group responsible for underwriting and managing Prudential Capital's $2B+ electric power portfolio.
