    Mic (Michael) Williams has been an investor for over 34 years. Whereas his primary investments and have been in commercial real estate; his previous private investments have included manufacturing, mining, movies, lumber products, ships and a television enterprise. Since he founded the Boston chapter of Keiretsu Forum in 2004 and then Boston Harbor Angels in 2006. He has invested in eleven of the “portfolio” companies.

    He has served on many, public, private, and charitable boards including United Way (a past Campaign Chairman, Tucson) Boy Scouts, YMCA and the International Boys Club (NYC).

    He spent 18 years with Coldwell Banker Commercial Group as a salesman, CA.; VP Resident Manager, AZ; and SVP Regional Manager, Board member in NY.,NJ.,CT. He left to join Aries Enterprises as President of a large scale land development company in Colorado and Arizona and involved in the planning, development and sales of major planned communities. He was a Managing Director of Landauer (a NY real estate consulting firm) and also provided real estate investment banking services with a small private firm in NYC.

    He continues to do real estate investing, consulting, and funds raising for commercial real estate projects. Mr. Williams has been a featured speaker in the US, UK, Asia, and Africa on real estate and more recently featured in different venues as a speaker, moderator and panelist on “angel investing”.

    His real estate views have been quoted in such publications as the WSJ, NYTimes, LATimes, Barrons, and Business Week.

    Mr. Meinser has worked for nine startups as VP of sales or VP of business development yielding five acquisitions and one IPO. His expertise is in the areas of enterprise software, security and data communications. Most recently, he served as the VP of business development at Authentica, acquired by EMC in early 2006. He has been a private angel investor since 1998 and he led the angel round at Lumigent Technologies, where he served on the Board for 5 years. He works with his investments to help develop sales and partnering strategies.

    Ben is passionate about big ideas and disrupting the status quo. As the cofounder and CEO of Sensible Baby, a wearable, smart monitoring technology company for infants, he is helping to revolutionize baby monitoring for the 21st century. His startup won Startup Weekend Boston, finalist in the 2013 Harvard Business School New Venture Competition, finalist in the 2013 MassChallenge and winner of the 2013 Founder.org $100K program. Ben leads his company in business development and key relationship development.

    Prior to Sensible Baby, Ben was a senior materials engineer for the US Air Force, developing personal protective equipment for Airmen. He also operated as the lead footwear project engineer for the US Army and managed all the technical aspects of their footwear programs. He led the fast-pace multimillion-dollar development effort of the US Army's hot weather mountain combat boot program which supported the unique needs of deploying soldiers in Afghanistan. Ben has also been a key researcher on footwear studies sponsored by the NFL.

    Ben earned a BS from Northeastern University in Biomedical Physics and an MS from Boise State University in Biomechanics.

    Michael Barron is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group where he represents technology and life sciences companies and advises companies, entrepreneurs and investors in the areas of formation and governance, early and later stage debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, employment and executive compensation, and intellectual property matters, including trademark and technology licensing.

    Michael serves on the board and as general counsel to several trade associations that focus on promoting and developing companies and professionals in the technology and life sciences industries. Michael founded MITX in 1995 to help promote the development and growth of the Internet and digital technologies industry in New England.
