    Mr. Kevin Brophy is co-founder and Managing Principal of Meidlinger Partners, LLC, a Philadelphia-based private equity-investment firm. Before cofounding Meidlinger Partners in November 2008, Brophy held roles in operations as well as director positions with Aqua America, including executive roles in mergers, acquisitions, business development, investor relations, and strategic planning. Mr. Brophy oversees the firm's daily operations, and manages financial planning for Portfolio Companies. Mr. Brophy also plays an integral role in negotiating and structuring investments and strategic planning for Portfolio Companies.

    Mr. Brophy has a B.S. in business administration from Villanova University and has completed executive programs at London Business School. He is a member of Investors' Circle, a leading network of private and institutional investors that uses private capital to promote the transition to a sustainable economy. He is also on the executive committee of the Children's Crisis Treatment Center, a Philadelphia nonprofit organization.

    Holly's career includes 20 years of business development experience including stints at 5 start-up ventures, 1 of which had a very successful IPO (MBNA America) and another (Juniper Bank) that was acquired by Barclays Bank for close to $300mm. Most recently, she was responsible for Business Development at local start-up, TicketLeap (a Gabriel portfolio company), where she increased gross ticket sales from BD efforts over 400% within 1 year.

    She recently joined Gabriel Investments where she is responsible for deal sourcing and is involved in investment due diligence and other Gabriel operational activities. She also actively works with the Gabriel portfolio of companies to refine their business development strategy and tactics.

    Holly holds a BA and MBA from the University of Delaware.

    At Comcast, Sam Schwartz has served in a number of innovation roles focused on delivering interactive products, building innovation teams, partnering with leading-edge companies, and overseeing Comcast’s venture capital and Internet investments and acquisitions. He has frequently represented Comcast in the press and at conferences to discuss the evolution of business models in a multiscreen digital world, technology and content distribution.

    As Chief Development Officer of Comcast Cable, Sam oversees Comcast’s Strategic Development Group in sourcing, building and developing strong partnerships and businesses that deliver the best products to consumers.

    Sam previously served as President of Comcast Converged Products where he led the strategic development of initiatives with key partners, including overseeing product development of the Comcast and Verizon Wireless innovation partnership to create new integrated wireline and wireless products and services. Sam also founded and led the team that developed the company’s next-generation X1 product and platform that both significantly enhance Comcast’s video service on the TV and extend it to other next-generation devices.

    Prior to this, he co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of Strategy & Development for Comcast Interactive Media (CIM), the division of Comcast Corporation founded to develop and operate online and cross-platform entertainment and media businesses, including Xfinity.net and XfinityTV.com (formerly Fancast.com). In that role, he oversaw CIM’s acquisition and successful integration of Fandango.com, DailyCandy, Movies.com, thePlatform and Plaxo. As a co-founder of CIM, he played a key role in the industry’s development of its TV Everywhere strategy, the creation and launch of Fancast.com, and the development of CIM’s significant Web, strategy and engineering capabilities.

    Sam also is a Founding Partner of Comcast Interactive Capital (CIC), now Comcast Ventures, the venture capital fund affiliated with Comcast. He served as Senior Managing Partner, a role in which he grew the team, developed the investment strategy and oversaw investments in more than 100 venture-stage companies, in addition to serving on many of their Boards. In 2011, CIC combined with NBCUniversal and General Electric’s Peacock Equity Fund to form Comcast Ventures.

    Prior to joining Comcast in March of 1999, Sam spent time as a venture capital investor in communications and software companies. Prior to his work in venture capital, he was a manager at The Boston Consulting Group and a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Sam began his career as a software engineer.

    Sam holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as a Palmer Scholar, and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering & Applied Science.

    Jennifer Hartt is Director of Investments, Life Sciences, for Ben Franklin. Hartt directs all of Ben Franklin’s life sciences investments in companies with technologies ranging from medical devices and diagnostics to therapeutics. Hartt has invested in over thirty companies for Ben Franklin since arriving in 2005. Hartt holds a Bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, as well as a Master’s in Biology, both from the University of Pennsylvania. She has prior experience in lab research, clinical settings, business consulting for small and large companies, technology evaluation, licensing and equity management. Prior to joining Ben Franklin, Hartt was Associate Director of Business Development & Equity at the University of Pennsylvania. Hartt is involved in regional activities in technology development education and commercialization programs such as in being on a science curriculum audit committee, evaluating business plans, judging entrants in the Eastern Technology Council Enterprise Awards, mentoring students and representing her organization on the oversight committee for Coulter funding of translational research at Drexel University.

    Sean Dowling joined Osage full time as an Associate in 2011, after interning with Osage as a Summer Associate in 2010 while pursuing his MBA. Previously, Sean spent five years at the Monitor Group in London, UK and Boston, MA where he served as a senior case team leader as a member of Monitor's marketing strategy group, m2c. At Monitor, Sean focused on integrating marketing strategy and organizational design to enable Fortune 500 multinational companies to achieve sustainable growth, primarily in the consumer packaged goods and life sciences industries. Sean completed his MBA, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Economics.

    Nat Brinn has a 25-year successful track record of private investments, acquisitions and business management. The most recent example is HSA Bank, the largest specialty bank in the United States focused on health savings accounts. Nat has successful management experience in growth companies, including his role as CEO of HSA Bank, where accounts and revenues grew four-fold and the firm developed a significant profit margin from an initial loss position.

    Nat's private equity investments have achieved positive returns, with many returning 4-5x initial investment within several years. In aggregate, he has completed more than 80 transactions with positive results, including the avoidance of any defaults during his tenure as a private placement bond investor.

    Currently he is acting CEO of Vital Financial's portfolio company, CR Certification Corporation. Nat has significantly built revenues and revamped this company.

    While he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Webster Bank, Nat was responsible for mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic initiatives. He also oversaw management of Budget Installment Company, a premium finance company that Webster acquired and grew three-fold in outstanding balances, revenues and profits over three years under his supervision.

    Upon acquiring HSA Bank for Webster, he was appointed to become CEO of HSA Bank. HSA Bank was purchased in early 2005 for a net premium of $12 million and was valued at nearly $100 million upon his departure at CEO in July 2007 to join Vital Financial. Both the Budget Installment and HSA Bank situations involved upgrading IT, financial, compliance and operating systems as well as building national sales organizations.

    Prior to his tenure at Webster Bank, Nat held positions in corporate development (M&A and strategic investing) and private placement investments at Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance and Inspection Company, Phoenix Home Life, Canadian Imperial Bank and Metropolitan Life.

    Nat has an MBA in finance and accounting from The Fuqua School of Business (Duke University), where he was a Fuqua Scholar and his class graduation speaker. He did his undergraduate work in economics, with additional focus in mathematics and statistics, at University of Delaware where he was in the honors program.
