    Brad Kayton is a serial entrepreneur turned parallel, having made a number of investments in start-ups over the past few years as well as acting as an advisor or consultant to a number of start-ups. Brad is a member of Launchpad Venture Group. Brad has started five companies operationally, a few others as the first funder, and he adds the most value in the early years of a company's life-cycle. Brad has been a CEO four times, a board member often, came up through the ranks operationally on the product manager-marketing side, and began his career as a software programmer. Brad has an MBA and a Masters in Communications Technology and lives in the Boston metro area.

    Todd Belfer is Managing Partner of Canal Partners. In this role Mr. Belfer is responsible for all aspects of the company including identification of potential acquisition targets, due diligence, financial analysis and final investment decision making.

    Mr. Belfer has a long history of entrepreneurship and has been involved with a wide range of businesses throughout his career. In 1990 he co-founded Employee Solutions, Inc., a professional employer organization which he helped take public in 1993 and which was the highest performing stock on the NASDAQ in 1996. He also co-founded a leading sports nutrition company M.D. Labs in 1993 and after realizing triple-digit growth sold his interest to a private equity firm in 2002. He was a founder of the successful Japanese restaurant chain RA, which has grown to more than 30 locations throughout the United States and which was sold to Benihana in 2002. In 2002 Mr. Belfer founded NETtime Solutions, a Software as a Service (SaaS) organization dedicated to delivering on-demand time and attendance service, where he remains as chairman.

    Mr. Belfer has been a dedicated volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters for over 10 years. Nationally, he is recognized for his work with The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and received the prestigious Regional Wings of Memory Society "Excellence in Leadership Award" presented by the United States Holocaust Museum in April 2006 for his ongoing support and dedication to the Holocaust Museum and its efforts. He is also a board member of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

    Mr. Belfer has a bachelor's degree in finance and a real estate degree from the University of Arizona.

    Ed Emanuelli was born in raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico; from a young age he's been involved in all sorts of start ups and ventures. The first being a surf company which still exist today, then several young minded ideas like a female talent agency, a tour guide company and a food truck / van way back before food trucks where in. Now a days, after a few successful exits and a few bumps on the road, Ed is leading the charge with a homegrown angel investment group based out of Puerto Rico and trying to play a key role in helping the entrepreneurship ecosystem grow locally in a manner that P.R. can become a center for Caribbean, Central and Latin American innovation and investment.

    Regarding the technicalities, Ed is a licensed state and federal attorney with an L.L.M from Pepperdine University in Negotiation. His interest in the food space came at a young age due to the fact that his family operates one of only two milk manufacturers and distributors in Puerto Rico, amidst other beverages and by-products that are part of their brand. They are currently celebrating 95 years since inception.

    Ed's "other" job is working as Vice President and Sales Leader for Hub international Insurance Brokers. Hub is the 10th largest insurance broker in the world. Ed's local firm used to be the largest local capital firm in Puerto Rico when HUB made an approach to buy the business and have Ed’s team help them lead the charge for a Caribbean and Central American expansion. HUB handles a lot of business in the New York region with corporate offices in the heart of the city, including a start up practice which Ed is focusing on here in NYC.

Early in his career, Douglas spent more than a decade in the telecommunications industry, primarily focused on international voice, data and IP networks.

He is an angel investor in the Angel Round Capital Fund located in New York City, where he serves on the Executive Committee and also chairs the Audit Committee.

    Kevin has been quoted in numerous business publications such as Crain's New York Business, Fortune Small Business, Commerce magazine and NJBIZ. He has also been a speaker at the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. Kevin has appeared on Bloomberg Radio, CNBC and NBC.

    Kevin's career also includes 10 years of professional experience with two of the Big 4 and national accounting firms.

He works with many startups helping them grow by attracting and retaining top talent, increasing their efficiencies by alleviating some of the transactional components of HR, control their costs around medical premiums while keeping them compliant pertaining to Labor and Benefit issues.

    Prior to joining TriNet Darrell started several businesses including an Investment Bank called Evergreen Business Consultants, Inc. At Evergreen, he focused on capital raises for private startup companies within the technology, bio tech and renewable energy sectors. The other business was Personal Transit, Inc., a transportation company which Darrell formed after college. This produced a successful exit with a private equity based role up within the sector.

    Murat is an engineer, author and technology entrepreneur. He recently sold Centrl, a location-based social networking startup that he founded in 2008. At the time of the sale, the application was the first to offer a free IM-on-a-map-system that was not reliant on SMS.

    A tireless force on the NYC tech startup scene, Murat founded the Entrepreneurs Roundtable in 2007. The organization, which holds monthly "short pitch" format meetings connecting investors with promising startups, has created active and engaged communities New York City, Philadelphia, Turkey and Japan, with India and China coming soon.

    In 2011, Murat co-authored Location-Aware Applications, a comprehensive guide to the technology and business of creating compelling location-based services and applications.

    Murat has served as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and some of the world's most well known brands including AT&T, Sony, Panasonic, Logitech and Pioneer. He has established engineering infrastructures and software development methodologies for numerous startups including Improv, Sonicbox, Plaxo, Manyone and Coollris. His expertise has been in constant demand; he has managed engineering teams for Silicon Graphics in Mountain View and Sony Corporation in San Jose and Tokyo.

    He is a frequent speaker at technology and entrepreneurship conferences and panels, such as Mobile Marketing Association Forum, Monaco Media Forum, Ultra Light Startups, Siggraph and New York Entrepreneur Week.

    Murat serves as a board member for the Turkish American Business Forum and is co-founder of the Turkish Founders Club. He is an advisor at MIT Enterprise Forum, Standard Start, Girls In Tech and the Turkish Women's International Network.

    Murat holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electrics and Electronics from Bilkent University, in Ankara, Turkey.
