Mark H. Schneider has been an angel investor since 1999, and currently serves as a Board member of both NY Angels and Angel Investor Forum in Connecticut. His investments span a wide range of interests including health information systems, new media, infrastructure software, web-enabled business services, greentech and industrial products. Mark serves on the board of Innroad, Inc., a SAAS (Software as a Service) company for hotel management (www.innroad.com). For many years (since 1982) his day job was as founder and CEO, and then non-operating Chairman of a group of software companies which provided software, systems, and transaction services to the pharmaceutical fulfillment industry(*). After a series of acquisitions and mergers, that company announced two liquidity events in 2006 and 2007. One division was sold to a public company, the other division to a private equity firm. Mark’s earlier experience included Director of Planning for a publicly held computer consulting firm; and Manager of Strategic Planning for a division of PepsiCo, Inc. Mr. Fernandes leads a number of global initiatives, including the Missing Middle Initiative, launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, focused on creating funds that invest $100K-$3M, a critical financing gap for early-mid stage businesses globally. John Ason has been an angel investor for over 15 years specializing in early stage pre-revenue companies. He has made over twenty eclectic investments in the areas of e-commerce, technology, advertising and entertainment. John was at AT&T Bell Labs for over 25 years, first involved in software and technology development, then in marketing and business management of large telecommunications projects overseas. He is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology. Douglas S. Ellenoff, a member of the Firm since its founding in 1992, is a corporate and securities attorney with a specialty in business transactions and corporate financings.
