    Paul Sciabica is currently the Executive Director of the New York Angels. He started his career as a technologist for the NASD and the Federal Reserve Board. He was involved in strategic planning for The Washington Post and Merrill Lynch. At Merrill, he was a investment banker and venture fund manager focusing on semiconductors (fab and fabless), software, telecommunications equipment and business services. Primarily a US focused investor, he also has invested in China, Japan, Sweden and Israel.

    Mr. Model is responsible for the overall operations of Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners, including sourcing, underwriting and executing the firm's growth equity investments. Mr. Model has made investments in twelve growth stage businesses located in New York. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of eHealth Technologies, Lumetrics, iCardiac Technologies (Observer) and Critical Media (Observer). He previously served on the Board of Directors of Knovel Corporation (observer) (Acquired by Reed Elsevier) and Medidata Solutions (observer) (NASDAQ: MDSO), Lorica Solutions (Acquired by Xeta Technologies (NASDAQ: PAET) and PixFusion. Mr. Model currently serves as the President of the Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY).

    Prior to Stonehenge Mr. Model spent twelve years as a retail executive and entrepreneur responsible for both online and physical retail locations throughout the country.

    He earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.

    Steve Brotman is a Managing Director of Alpha Venture Partners. Steve was formally the managing director of GSAVP. Prior to founding SAVP in 1998, Mr. Brotman was the founder, CEO and Chairman of AdOne Classified Network, the nation's leading classified ad web site. AdOne has since merged as an equal partner with PowerAdz, and renamed PowerOne Media. While at SAVP, Steve was a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2000, named in Crain's 2001 Tech 100. While at AdOne in 1997, he was selected for Crain's Top 25 Players Shaping Silicon Alley and the 1995 Top 40 under 40 among New York businessmen. Steve received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University and a joint JD/MBA degree with honors from Washington University. In between degrees, he worked for Andersen Consulting as an associate doing systems design and integration and enhanced workflow and productivity projects. Steve currently serves on the boards of Critical Mention, Cosential, Game Trust (Observer), and Knovel (Observer) and has previously served on the boards of Medidata (Observer), DataSynapse (Observer), 7thOnline and Bla-bla (acquired by UGO in 2001). In addition, Steve has served on the board of the MIT Enterprise Forum and as a mentor and judge for the Columbia Business School Lang and Greenhouse Funds.

    Mr. Hutchins joined Advantage Capital Partners as an associate in 2006. His responsibilities include deal flow screening, due diligence and portfolio company monitoring in the New York office. Before joining Advantage Capital, Mr. Hutchins served as a product development engineer for Advanced Micro Devices and prior to that as an engineer and manager with IBM Microelectronics. Mr. Hutchins brings operational experience in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and test to the firm. Mr. Hutchins holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Lawrence University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in engineering management from Dartmouth College.

    Toby Moskovits is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Equity Partners. She has spent the past twelve years advising companies across a range of industries and stages on strategic and operational growth strategies. Prior to founding Heritage, Toby served as Managing Director of private equity and venture capital investment activity at Cammeby’s Capital Group, a private family-owned firm, where she invested in companies across a diverse range of industries.

    In addition to traditional private equity investments, in her role at Cammeby’s Toby developed a merchant banking practice, working with entrepreneurs and companies to identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities, as well as generating significant proprietary deal flow in partnership with a network of virtual “entrepreneurs in residence” across a range of industries. Toby is also the founder of Gotham Angels, a NYC based Angel Investment group focused on providing angel investors with opportunities to invest in mature growth and middle market private equity opportunities.

    Prior to joining Cammeby's Toby founded Cato Advisors, a boutique investment bank and consulting firm providing advisory services to early and growth stage companies. From 1998-2002 Toby lived in Israel during which time she worked at Israel Seed Partners, a $250 million fund based in Jerusalem, in addition to holding operational and advisory roles in a number of early stage technology companies. During her tenure at Israel Seed Partners, the fund invested in Cyota (sold to RSA) and Dealtime (IPO:, subsequently sold to Ebay).

    Toby currently holds seats on the board of directors of Melior Discovery and Vumber, and is on the National Advisory Board of Springboard Enterprises.

    Toby has a B.Sc. from Touro College and an MBA from Bar Ilan University, both awarded summa cum laude.

    Dr. Tamarelli is a bicoastal angel investor in early stage technology businesses in the New Jersey and San Francisco Bay areas. He serves on a number of boards of directors and advisory boards. As a CEO, private company owner, and public company officer his 39 years experience have encompassed general management, entrepreneurship, new ventures, mergers and acquisitions, advanced materials, electronics, environmental protection, specialty chemicals, energy conservation, technology transfer, and other business, scientific and policy areas. His primary business activity is as a professional venture capital angel investor. He specializes in value-added investments in early stage technology businesses. He has made over 50 investments in over 25 companies since 2000, sometimes serving on boards of directors. These investments have been in advanced materials, electronics, imaging, and information technology. He is also a limited partner in 4 venture capital funds active in these areas. Dr. Tamarelli is founding chairman of Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network and is a member of the Band of Angels in Silicon Valley. In 1983 he purchased Dock Resins Corporation in a leveraged buyout and successfully grew its revenues and profits as Chairman, CEO and sole owner. In 1997 he sold the company at a significant gain and remained CEO until 2000 when he became Chairman Emeritus. He was employed by Engelhard Corporation from 1970 to 1983 (Senior Vice President), and previously by Exxon Corporation. He managed $billion groups of worldwide businesses and also had senior management responsibility for corporate strategic planning and corporate R&D. Before joining Exxon, Dr. Tamarelli served as a captain in the U.S. Army and as a professor at Carnegie-Mellon University. He has BS, MS, and PhD degrees in engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA in marketing and international business from New York University. Dr. Tamarelli has held numerous leadership positions in industry, community, and civic organizations. These include Chairman of the Synthetic Organic Chemicals Association; Chairman of the Chemical Industry Council of New Jersey; Chairman of the Metropolitan New York Paint and Coatings Association, and President of the Linden Industrial Association.
