    Prior to founding ZINO Society, Cathi Hatch has held executive roles and consulted in the restaurant business for over twenty-five years, including her work as director of operations for Schwartz Brothers Restaurants and regional vice president for Restaurants Unlimited, Inc. She currently holds positions on a number of for-profit and nonprofit boards including Zones, Inc.; Pacific Continental Bank; Pacific Northwest Ballet; YMCA, PONCHO and the United Way of King County.

    Petra Franklin is the Managing Director of Vault Capital and a General Partner of Vault Capital II. She co-founded the venture capital company in 1998 with Irwin Treiger and William Justen. Ms. Franklin is responsible for Vault Capital's investments in Terabeam, Singingfish, HouseValues, Ramgen, eProject, Coffee Equipment Company and Seattle Biofuels. Prior to Vault Capital, Ms. Franklin worked with start-ups in a management or director capacity and came to that from the data networking and wireless communications field including positions with US West Wireless, AT&T, MFS, UUNET, IBM, WorldCom, and as Associate Producer for CBS in New York City. Ms. Franklin has also worked closely with artist Dale Chihuly building his support organization for upwards of 11 years. Ms. Franklin is on the board of the National Science Foundation's Science Technology Center for Information Technology, a member of the National Venture Capital Association, the Community Development Roundtable, ACT Theatre, the Alliance of Angels, Washington Software Association, WWFC, the Hilltop Group, and WIT, and was a founding member of Innovation & Science, Agile, Alpha Arts, Seniors Making Art and the Women's Bioethics Project. Ms. Franklin attended Harvard University and Bennington College, where she received her undergraduate degree. She also attended Stanford University and the University of Washington.

    As president and chief executive officer of Washington Research Foundation, Mr. Howell has guided WRF from being an organization that identified, protected and licensed technologies to one with sufficient assets and expertise to foster the creation of early-stage technology-based companies. Mr. Howell joined WRF in 1989 and shaped the most successful licensing program in the organization's history for generating a significant ongoing revenue stream. He continues to provide strategic direction for this effort. Earlier in his career Mr. Howell was in medical sales and operations. Mr. Howell serves on several boards related to the mission and activities of WRF and WRF Capital. He holds a bachelor of science in biochemistry from Washington State University.

    Rajeev is an avid investor in many sectors, including a strong interest in angel capital. Rajeev is a charter member in the Bellevue (WA) chapter of Keiretsu Forum. He has been active as a startup deal screener, diligence leader, investor, and advisor. Rajeev kicked off last year's angel diligence on Seattle-based Earth Class Mail Inc, whose series A round is being led by Ignition Partners. Rajeev has 15 years of experience in software development at Microsoft. In his first 10 years as an engineer, team lead, and architect, Rajeev made key technical contributions to Microsoft Windows and five major releases of Internet Explorer. During that time, he was an inventor on 12 issued patents, with 2 more still pending. In the past 5 years at Microsoft, Rajeev directed groups ranging between 40 and 80 technical staff members on Exchange Server, Office Live Meeting, and Visual Studio. Rajeev holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science, both from MIT.

    William K. (Bill) Bryant has had early and instrumental involvement in over twenty leading software and Internet companies, serving variously as a founder, senior executive, investor and Board Member. After serving as founding Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Visio (now part of Microsoft Corporation) in the early 1990s, Bill went on to found Netbot (which built the first comparison shopping agent for the Internet, Jango, as well as the first metasearch engine, Metacrawler, prior to being acquired by Excite) as its President; Qpass (, acquired by Amdocs) where he served as CEO and later Chairman; Medio Systems ( where he contines to serve as a Strategic Advisor; and 3Guppies (formerly Mixxer,, a market leader with over 4M members in the consumer mobile entertainment and community sector. In these founding capacities, Bill drove definition of the core product and market strategy; raised >$125M in venture capital; recruited senior management teams; and built customer, partner and channel relationships in launching both Internet and mobile services.. Bill is a founding seed investor in Pluggd (, Conenza (,) and mInfo (, and is an active participant on the Advisory Boards of Cascadia Capital (, Limeade (, Blist (, LiquidPlanner (, Eyejot (, and Communitect ( Current or recent Board roles include Pluggd, QL2 Software (, ACL Services (, Intrinsyc ( and Jabber ( Previously, Bill was an early investor or Board member in nine companies that were later acquired or went public, including Loudeye (Nokia), AEI Music (DMX/Liberty Media), Viafone (Extended Systems), Teamplate (Captaris), Exstatic Software (Xchange Applications), Throw (Excite), Singing Fish (Thomson/AOL); NearMe (Hands On Mobile) and WebRelevance (Medio). While serving as a Venture Partner with Atlas Venture (, he originated their Series A investment in Isilon Systems (, NASDAQ: ISLN).
