    Prior to co-founding Ballast Point Ventures in 2001, Mr. Brandewie was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1992 to 2000 of Quality Distribution, Inc. (QDI) and its predecessor firm, MTL Inc., a South Atlantic Venture Funds portfolio company. Mr. Brandewie was a General Partner with South Atlantic Venture Funds I and II from 1985 to 1992, where he helped develop South Atlantic's successful regional investment focus and participated in numerous venture capital investments across a diverse group of industries, with a particular emphasis on the health care industry. Prior to joining South Atlantic, Mr. Brandewie was a General Partner with MBW Venture Partners and Michigan Investment Fund and a Vice President and Investment Officer with Doan Resources from 1980 to 1985. MBW, MIF and Doan were three commonly managed funds with approximately $115 million under management that invested primarily in early-stage technology companies. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1977 with a bachelor's degree, and from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business in 1980 with an MBA.

    Mr. Nussrallah was Chairman of Concurrent Computer Corporation, a leading provider of high-performance real-time computer systems, software and servers before joining NMP in 2001. Prior to being appointed Chairman, Mr. Nussrallah held the position of president and chief executive officer.

    With more than 20 years of experience in technology-oriented industries including 15 years in the Cable TV (CATV) industry, Mr. Nussrallah served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Syntellect, Inc., a leading supplier of call center solutions to the CATV industry. Prior to Syntellect, Mr. Nussrallah was Vice President and General Manager of the Subscriber Business Unit of Scientific Atlanta, Inc. Mr. Nussrallah joined Scientific Atlanta in 1984 as Vice President of Engineering for the CATV operation.

    A native of Ohio, Mr. Nussrallah received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Mr. Nussrallah is also a graduate of the summer program in marketing at Harvard University.

    Ravi Ugale brings over 16 years of high-tech industry experience to Crossbow Ventures. His experience includes seven years of software development expertise, four years of systems analysis and design experience and five years of product marketing management and new business development experience at high-tech corporations. Prior to Crossbow Ventures, Ravi was the Marketing Program Manager for Ocè Printing Systems, USA Inc. (Formerly Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems); where he consulted and provided demand print and Internet publishing solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he worked as a Systems Analyst at Xerox Corporation and a Senior Consulting Analyst for IBM Corporation in their AS/400 division. Ravi earned an Executive MBA Degree with a specialization in International Business from Florida Atlantic University, a MS degree in Computer Science from Marquette University and a BS degree in Engineering from Poona University. Also, Ravi is a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.

    Mr. Jonathan I. Kislak, General Partner, is an experienced banker, mortgage banker, and investor with an extensive background in business and government. In 1991, Mr. Kislak founded Kislak Capital Corporation, a successful investor in start-up and early stage companies. From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Kislak was Deputy Under Secretary for Small Community and Rural Development at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he was responsible for policy development and management oversight for three USDA agencies: Farmers' Home Administration, Rural Electrification Administration, and the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. Mr. Kislak is currently on the board of directors of Micro Networks/Andersen Laboratories and Let's Talk Cellular (LTCW). Mr. Kislak also serves as Chairman of the Board of Kislak National Bank, a community bank with seven offices in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida, and is Chairman and President of the bank's holding company, Skylake Bankshares, Inc. Mr. Kislak received a B.A. degree in economics from Harvard College.
