Don served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of K|16 Solutions. Don's vision and direction improved the company image, increased sales, and led to two rounds of venture funding. Don has worked as a Venture Consultant with a leading venture capital firm, Pacesetter Capital Group, conducting due-diligence on start-up companies investment opportunities. Don co-founded and served as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Blom Wireless, Inc. As co-founder of Blom Wireless Inc., Don developed the business plan, validated the wireless market opportunity, and sought venture funding. Prior to Blom Wireless, Inc., Don served as Director of Business Development for 724 Solutions, formerly Tantau Software. Prior to 724 Tantau Software, Don held executive positions with industry leaders like Tivoli Systems/IBM, Compuware, and 3Com.

    Gary brings over 15 years experience as a management consultant and venture capitalist working with many companies in the technology space and other services industries. A former Managing Director with Andersen Consulting (Accenture) Gary spent 6 years growing the Northwest practice group before helping to form the $1 Billion Andersen Technology Venture Fund. As Managing Director for the fund, Gary participated in over 40 funding initiative and sat on numerous boards of technology and related portfolio companies. In early 2001 Gary formed his own Venture Capital Firm, Cenecore Capital Partners and later joined CDS International Holdings, Inc a $500 million Private Equity Firm located in Delray Beach, FL.

    Derek started Boyne Capital Partners with Jim Malone in 2006 to focus on the acquisition of lower middle market companies. These companies have between $2 million to $8 million of cash flow. In 2006, Boyne raised $46 million of equity to acquire Superior International Industries, Inc and Jet Plastica, Inc.

    From 1998 through 2006, Mr. McDowell was a partner with Trivest Partners LP ("Trivest"), a Miami-based private equity firm managing more than $600 million in equity capital. During his tenure at Trivest, he helped raise and manage $316 million Fund III. He has particular expertise in identifying and acquiring privately held companies in a broad range of industries including financial services, health care, building products, consumer products and aerospace. At Trivest his responsibilities included the origination of investment opportunities and the acquisition and oversight of portfolio companies. He has served as chairman of Avborne, Inc., Lady of America Corp. and Superior International Industries, Inc. and as a director of Brown Jordan International, Inc., Aero International Products, Inc. and Herbal Magic, ULC. Prior to joining Trivest, Mr. McDowell spent eight years with private equity and management consulting firms including: H.I.G. Capital Management, Continental Illinois Venture Corporation, and Corporate Value Associates. Mr. McDowell received his A.B. from Dartmouth College and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
