    John attended Hofstra University in Hempstead NY and obtained a BA in accounting. He then went to Pace University in NY for Corp. Finance.

    John started with secured lending in 1976 at Republic National Bank which was owned by Edmund Safra. John worked in several areas including credit underwriting, new business development and portfolio management.

    The portfolio was $6B before the group was sold to the CIT group in 2004. After a short while John joined Ark Royal Capital. We started by providing funding for the Oil and Gas Industry. We now provide funding for various industries including Telecomm, Distribution and Service firms. We provide ABL, Bridge and Mezzanine financing.

    We work with a variety of private firms throughout the US.

    Matthew W. Shaw, Managing Director, Crossbow Ventures Matthew W. Shaw, Managing Director, Crossbow Ventures

    Matthew W. Shaw brings several years of seasoned venture capital experience to Crossbow Ventures. Matt began his career with Deloitte & Touche providing financial advisory services to clients across multiple industries and later moved to venture capital with Prime New Ventures. At Prime, Matt focused on investments in the telecommunications and network infrastructure industries. Most recently, Matt was with Centennial Ventures, a venture capital firm with over $1 billion under management. At Centennial, Matt targeted his investment activities in the communications, media, services and outsourcing industries. Matt received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami.

    Steve was Chairman of Concurrent Computer Corporation, a leading provider of high-performance real-time computer systems, software and servers before joining NMP in 2001. Prior to being appointed Chairman, he held the position of president and chief executive officer.

    With more than 20 years of experience in technology-oriented industries including 15 years in the Cable TV (CATV) industry, Steve served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Syntellect, Inc., a leading supplier of call center solutions to the CATV industry. Prior to Syntellect, Steve was Vice President and General Manager of the Subscriber Business Unit of Scientific Atlanta, Inc. Steve joined Scientific Atlanta in 1984 as Vice President of Engineering for the CATV operation.

    A native of Ohio, Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of the summer program in marketing at Harvard University.
