North Country Angels investors gather every month for a meeting, where evaluation of business proposals and presentations, sharing of due diligence processes, establishing vital connections and discussion of current investment news in the community takes place. They are an agile group of investors who have strong senses in pointing out highly qualified and competitive companies to back-up. Qualified companies are those who already has formed and developed a basic concept and has a strategically formulated business plan, and thus in turn makes a highly viable business investment. An investment funding amounting to $100,000-$1 million will be granted to the company. Also, if a future need of large-scale investment persists, the group can help in sourcing out this fund through affiliate companies that provide higher amounts of funding.
Funding applications are submitted to the angel group's Coordinator, who is in-charge of the initial screening and due diligence processing of the business proposal. A recommendation will be made for the whole group for assessment. The company shall there after present its business proposal to a member or members of the investment group. After further assessment, a due diligence evaluation process will take place. Successful candidates shall also be assisted in building a strong management team, formulating an effective financial strategy, establishing vital contacts and partnerships and other essential needs.
