The Northern Ontario Enterprise Gateway (NOEG) is a non-profit organization comprised of angel investment groups from Northern Ontario. The NOEG helps in setting up angel investment groups in North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, and Thunder Bay. The organization advances economic progress in the North by introducing angel investors to companies with high-growth potentials.
The NOEG provides support for both investors and entrepreneurs to help them achieve success in their angel investment activities. Members of the NOEG attend seminars to enhance their investment knowledge and skills and increase the rate of investment success. These seminars are often provided by the NOEG in cooperation with the National Angel Organization. Being a member of the NOEG also increases the exposure of angel investment groups to a greater number of emerging companies that need funding. The NOEG facilitates the business presentations of companies with lucrative investment opportunities for its members as well. Aside from this, the NOEG also supports entrepreneurs by providing counseling, seminars, and workshops in preparation for potential funding from angel investment groups. Through these enhancement tools, a company has higher chances of gaining the funding it needs from various angel investment groups.
Companies that need and want opportunities to acquire funding from the members of the NOEG can submit an executive summary not longer than six pages. Application forms, along with a format of the executive summary, are available for download from the NOEG website. The NOEG looks for companies that need a maximum of $3 million for funding. Applicants should be start-up companies based in the Northern Ontario area with great potential for growth. No fee is required for funding application submission. All applications will be initially screened for qualification to determine a company's readiness for investment. A company that will qualify from the initial screening will be assisted in the preparation of its business presentation to the angel investment group. After presentation, a due diligence process will follow. Interested angel investors will formulate the terms of investment to be negotiated with the company. The investment deal will be closed after the final agreement of terms.

Contact details are also provided on every page for application submissions and other inquiries. Contact details include the name of the contact person, postal box address, electronic address, and phone, fax, and toll-free numbers. For a faster and easier way to browse for specific information, a search box is also provided on the website.
