AngelNet is a trademark service provided by the Indiana Venture Center, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports the proliferation of quality businesses which would in turn advance economic progress throughout Indiana. Thus, AngelNet is managed and operated by the Indiana Venture Center, Inc. AngelNet serves as a vehicle to realize Indiana Venture Center's goals through establishing the connection of angel investors and entrepreneurs. It provides its member investors with a wide selection of investment opportunities and an organized method of choosing high quality companies, as well as relevant knowledge about terms of investments and the current trends in the investment business. Entrepreneurs are also given a great opportunity of being able to present their businesses to a variety of prospective investors from all over the region.
Membership to AngelNet is open to qualified individuals who are accredited investors according to the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States. Accredited investors are those whose individual or joint net worth is at least $1 million or more, or the individual annual income is at least $200,000 or more, or the joint annual income is at least $300,000 or more. Those who are interested to apply for membership are encouraged to fill-out an angel profile form which can be accessed from the AngelNet website. All applications submitted through this online system will be sent automatically to the Indiana Venture Center, Inc. If an applicant rather prefers to mail or fax the application, a document file can also be downloaded from the AngelNet website.
AngelNet seeks for certain qualifications from companies that apply for funding. It is highly required that a company is based in Indiana, has a high potential to generate millions worth of investment returns within three to five years, can generate job opportunities in the local area, and has an innately business-minded leader. Companies that wish to apply are required to submit a business profile. The AngelNet website provides an online business profile form that funding applicants can fill-out. All applications submitted through this system will be automatically forwarded to the Indiana Venture Center, Inc. for review. After the initial review, a company may be invited for an introductory meeting for further assessment. A company that is deemed qualified and proves to be a potentially high quality investment will be invited for a business presentation at the Indiana Venture Center, Inc. and/or via webinars, an online web cast system.

The opening page of the AngelNet website provides a brief background about the angel network emphasizing its purposes. One of the pages gives the benefits of membership and the requirements for application. Membership applications can be done through an online angel profile registration system or by sending through fax or postal mail. A document copy of the angel profile form can be downloaded from the website.
Another page in the website also provides the benefits of AngelNet to entrepreneurs. Companies that are interested to apply for funding can also find the investment criteria through the "Apply for Assistance" page or the "Frequently Asked Questions" page.
