Founded in 2006, the European American Angel Club (EAAC) is a group of angel investors and entrepreneurs whose primary goal is to support early-stage companies from the European community in Silicon Valley. By providing seed capital and professional counseling, EAAC firmly believes that European start-ups can also attain success in business the same way that American entrepreneurs are doing in the Silicon Valley region. In addition, the club guides these new enterprises in dealing with consumer behavior, product development, feasibility strategies, and the US market in general to stabilize their businesses and increase their competence of penetrating a huge pool of purchasers. Although EAAC is predominantly focused on European-based companies and entrepreneurs related to European deals and agreements, the group can also consider, depending on qualifications and potential, other start-up companies in the region. The European American Angel Club is currently based in San Francisco, California.

As the club is relatively new in the angel investment industry, EAAC is opening its doors to prospective members who wish to uphold their mission of providing first round of investment to deserving high technology companies. So what does EAAC require of its members? Interested individuals must be accredited investors based on the guidelines set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Members are also tasked to attend a minimum of 2 events that the club is officiating every year. And in addition, an annual fee of $300 is expected from its members to regulate the club's operations.

EAAC values efficiency and accountability in a club whose strong foundation is through the competence of its members. As members who share common objectives, EAAC investors are given the opportunity to become involved in the group's functional decisions such as screening potential companies, due diligence process, and investment evaluations. In addition, market uncertainties and investment risks are discussed and managed effectively as a group to alleviate profit and consumer loss. EAAC members likewise build strong networks of related organizations and angel investment groups to aid them in co-investment and deal sourcing of their portfolio companies. This way, investors are armed with economic influence and power to sustain the growth of their companies and eventually provide greater opportunities to future start-ups in the Silicon Valley area.

Marc Dangeard, a senior entrepreneur with 15 years of business experience, oversees the European American Angel Club as its president. His management experience ranges from guiding start-up companies in their initial stages of funding and operations up to their public offering, exit, or succeeding ventures. Although he's working on various fields in the industry, Dangeard mainly focuses on high technology solutions such as software applications and computer-based markets. Aside from being EAAC's President, Dangeard also provides expert advice and professional mentoring to a wide range of entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley.

EAAC is a proud member of Angel Capital Association (ACA), a professional organization of angel investment groups from the United States and Canada to guide and provide maximum investment potential to is members across North America.
