CoreNetwork is a regional and private group of accredited investors in Ohio that supports enterprises with huge market opportunities and sustainable business growth. The network looks for private equity investments that can give back a substantial return on their capital as well as wide gross margins and above-average revenues. In addition, CoreNetwork works with its syndicate groups and sponsors to further provide unequaled assistance and resources to its innovative entrepreneurs and turn their companies into successful ventures.

Companies who plan to apply for investment, either seed capital or follow-on funding, are requested to submit their business plans online or send a copy to its head office in Toledo, Ohio. There is a $200 review fee for each executive summary or business plan submitted to the Screening Committee. After complying with all the necessary requirements, the Committee reviews the proposal and evaluates its qualifications if it is eligible for equity investment. Within 30 days, the result of the assessment will be given to the potential start-up -- whether there is a sufficient interest from the group members or not. Shortlisted entrepreneurs are invited to present their business plans to the Advisory Committee to further examine the potential of their products or services in one of the group's dinner meeting. The Committee provides constructive feedback and suggestions on how the company can polish its proposal to increase investment chances. In addition, they discuss areas that can be improved to prepare the company in presenting to CoreNetwork members. Consequently, the members manage specific areas of the deal and provide professional guidance in decision-making.

Currently, CoreNetwork is looking for private investors that can help the group in achieving its mission of supporting high-return investment companies in Ohio. Prospective members must be accredited investors as specified in the requirements by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Members benefit from a diverse range of opportunities that the group can provide as well as access to CoreNetwork's syndicate groups of investors, firms, and organizations. In addition, members invest individually. They are not forced to allocate their funds on companies which they think will not be able to gain a substantial return of investment within a period of time. Conversely, there is a nominal membership fee paid by each member of the group.

CoreNetwork's founding sponsors are some of the foremost support firms and professional service groups in Ohio. These include National City, Rudolph Libbe Companies, Weber O'Brien Ltd., Gilmore, Jasion & Mahler, and the Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick law firm. Robert Savage and John Collins act as the group's Managing Director and Business and Technology Adviser respectively. Both are high profile executives with more than 30 years of experience in managing key positions in diverse industries and enterprises.
