FundingPost Venture Capital and Angel Investor Network

The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors is an association of investment groups established in Dallas, Texas. Its member chapters are spread all across North America, particularly in the United States and Canada. The members are united by a common goal of propagating local economic growth through the progress of business industries. The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors is also a separate entity that operates as an angel investment organization that seeks lucrative investment opportunities in Texas and a member of the Angel Capital Association.

Members of The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors are accredited investors based in Texas who actively participate in investment deals. They also take part in other activities such as forums evaluation and due diligence process, social events, and investment workshops or seminars. Membership, as well as the regular screening and forum meetings, is strictly by invitation only. Those who are interested to become members should directly contact their local chapter president. Thereafter, the prospective member will be allowed to attend meetings. If the prospective member decides to push through with the membership after attending the meetings, he or she will be asked to fill out an application form and pay the membership fee.

On the other hand, application for funding is done through downloading and accomplishing the "company highlights" application form from The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors website. The application form should not be longer than four pages. After accomplishing the application form, it should be sent as an attachment via electronic mail. A company that will pass the pre-screening will be invited for a business presentation to the screening committee. This screening stage shall determine if the company is qualified for a final business presentation. If the company qualifies, it will be asked to present during the forum meeting. After which, the interested member investors will perform further evaluation through the due diligence process. Discussion of agreement terms will follow to finalize the investment deal.

The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors Website

The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors website is a very comprehensive information tool for those who are interested in angel investment. It does not only contain the basic facts about the angel investment group but it also provides educational programs and resources, as well as recommended reading materials about angel investment. It also includes a list of local service providers that will greatly help early stage companies. The website also provided links to various company websites that the group is affiliated with.

The tab for angel investors contains detailed information about membership. It also includes a definition of an angel investor which also serves as the criteria for membership qualification. The benefits of membership to the InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors are also enumerated on a page in the angel investors tab. Those who plan to apply for membership and attend the group's meetings should read the policies for attending a forum that are included in the angel investors tab. Membership applicants should also read the frequently asked questions page for other information that they need to know about membership. The entrepreneurs tab, on the other hand, provides easy instructions for funding application. There is a page for the presentation process that contains explanation of the various stages of the screening process and the corresponding tips on presentation for each stage. The tab also provides a page where there is a link for downloading the company highlights application form. Funding applicants should accomplish and submit this application form through an electronic mail address indicated on the same page. The logos of the companies that the InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors have funded are posted on one of the pages in the entrepreneurs tab.

A new online facility for the members of the InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors is currently under construction. It is a log-in page that will enable the members to access a database of the group's files and other materials. This page is user name and password protected and is exclusively for members only. The contact page on the website gives all the contact details of all chapter offices of The InvestIn Forum of Angel Investors in the United States and Canada.
