The Frontier Angel Fund is an angel investment organization established in Kalispell, Montana. It is a limited liability company that operates through a base fund. The group approves investment deals through a majority investment decision. In the event that a prospective company needs a higher amount of capital, the group will provide its usual amount of funding and the excess amount will be given out by each member to fill-up the total amount of funding needed. Since its inception, the Frontier Angel Fund has provided a total of $1.5 million worth of investments on newly emerging companies in the region and has a total of twenty-nine accredited investor members. It is also a part of the seventeen angel investment organizations in the Pacific Northwest that is affiliated with the Rain Source Capital.

The Frontier Angel Fund is interested to invest on companies located at Montana or the Inland Pacific Northwest region. It is focused on companies that has great potential for growth and has technologically innovative features. Application for funding is open to companies of any industry, provided that they meet the vital qualifications for investment. Companies that are considering to apply for funding should go to the investment group's website and submit an application through an online registration system. The application will be reviewed by the screening committee to assess if the company is qualified to present to the entire investment group membership. A more comprehensive application form is required to be accomplished by the qualified company after passing the initial stage of evaluation. The business presentations usually take place on the group's quarterly meetings and a company is given a maximum of twenty five minutes to present, including the panel discussion. Thereafter, members of the investment group shall vote to decide if the company is eligible to move forward to the due diligence process. A due diligence team performs the evaluation process for a certain period of time. After which, the due diligence team will report and recommend to the member investors if the company finally qualifies for an investment. Then, the term sheet negotiations will be discussed and brought forward to the members to vote for the final investment decision. The preparation of legal documents will immediately follow if the company is approved for investment.
